hopefully no injuries slow him down, I think thats the only thing stopping him from eventually cracking the bears starting Dline rotation at one of the DT positions, we do have a deep Dline so one nagging injury could put him far down the depth chart with players like melton, idonije whom can play both DT/DE effectively, along with adams and matt toeina.
No matter whoever gets him it will be a great pick, i could see him being in the long run better then Fairley, Fairley reminds me to much of Haynesworth, this guy looks more like Ngata.
@TerroristKiller1 dont mean to burst your bubble but thats not true hes stated in an interview that he could only bench 200 pounds as a senior in hi school
@rockstaruriel so your saying my comment isn't true? Doesn't matter if he lifted 200 or 100 pounds what good is lifting heavy weights if you can't convert all that power onto the field. This is a kid that switched from rugby to football and I am pretty sure a rugby weight training program is different from a college program.
@TerroristKiller1 power is how fast you push a weight if you got a guy who benches 200 in 2 seconds and a guy who gets it up in .5 obviously the second guy is more powerful. so paea worked for all of his "power" it wasnt natural. and i got this info from notre dame's strength and conditioning coach so im not talking out of my ass here
@rockstaruriel Paea whatever his name is did 1 rep per second you tell me that isn't strength almost 50 times. Speed isn't the only aspect either you'll have to take reps, endurance, length of persons arms and arms width. DNA and Genetic Code studies show that Sandanavian decent and Polynesian decent people grow muscle fibers 5 times faster meaning naturally as they grow up they are naturally stronger than most people.
@TerroristKiller1 thats a great argument idk if its true but il take your word for it. and at least you didn t get all pissy like most people on here haha
@rockstaruriel ...Dickhead, he was talking in more of a general term. Nothing scientific or academic here. No need to be all accurate and smart-alecy here as no credit is given. Samoans and Tongas, since you've never been to those islands, are naturally big and strong human beings, just as Blacks are naturally more athletically and fast. and Whites are taller in general than Asians...You have never traveled so you don't know shit.
@rockstaruriel ..power? fool wouldn't know power if it was thrusted into your chest and out your back....Samoans are big AND powerful...not just strong...yes, of course they have to lift weights to be in the nfl, but they naturally are strong and powerful unlike your typical fat-ass here in the states who was made fat by McDonalds...
@Jaiyo17 thats why i was a consensus all american in 2007 and made first team all conference in the big ten for the NC Double fucking A why try and talk shit when you dont know who i am. names j leman look me up bitch
good i hope my ravens take him he can penatrate into the back feild and we need that imagine Stephen Paea at DT MT cody/kelly gregg at NG and haloti ngata at DT
Stephen Paea's role models? They are not human... at 1:10 he mimicks the big bad wolf as he huffs and puffs to take the runner out seeminly without even touching the guy. At 1:33 he does the Grizzley Bear by swatting the runner to the turf like a mosquito !
