Hey you guys: If you were going to remake "The Electric Company," why didn't you just do the same kind of show but with new actors? Instead, you made something whose only connection to the original show is the network, the title, and the "HEY YOU GUYS" yell!
Hey you guys: If you were going to remake "The Electric Company," why didn't you just do the same kid of show but with new actor? You could've even brought back some former Short Circus members (all but one are still alive) to be the grownups in the cast. (Rita Moreno was already 40 when the original started and the others weren't much younger.) Instead, you made something whose only connection to the original show is the network, the title, and the "HEY YOU GUYS" yell!
Ah, such sweet childhood memories. I don't see why they can't re-run these old EC shows for today's children. Lord knows they'd do a hell of a better job at tgeaching kids grammer and such than today's PBS puke shows! Also, you'll notice the credits mentioned "U.S. OFFICE of Education". Not Department. We DO NOT need this incompetent, useless bureaucracy overseeing our schools. DISBAND the Dept of Education, bring BACK the OFFICE of education. At least THEY permitted LOCAL control over schools

Anybody have the daily closing credits w/o Jim's v.o.?
I heard that June Angela (Julie) did a daily credits v.o., too.
