Dom personallly knows the goalie in this video and was VERY flattered by this video. Dom has personally autographed all the gear, the original DVD that this is taken from. He is not only a friend to this goalies family but also to the city of Buffalo in general.

Hasek is an intense competitor who played with one objective and that was to stop the puck. Uninstructed during much of his development, Some loved him and others hated him. As for one on one situations, many a player will tell you that Hasek was the hardest to face.

corby36, your last comment, Jersey had Stevens, Niedermayer and the other guy. That's why brodeur was still a bit good. In buffalo the sabres were outshot almost ever game and Hasek made spectacular saves and actually kept them in. I wish that small kid was hasek, their saves were awesome (well, hasek's) Who cares about injuries, dom will come through this year, mark my words.

Hasek is know for big saves however as a goalie i know most of his highlight reel saves are all desperation saves meaning that he had to flop and/or drop to make a save that he was out of position on.
