  • very good...

  • damn

  • awesome, i have just acquired Arturias The factory (what were your bass settings for the moog). how did you extract samples (ie hi hats and snares), could you do a tutorial, please? either way i dont think id be anywhere near as good as you are.

  • @breakdancer1967 I think i'll do a tutorial as soon as possible. Thanks to all.

  • @breakdancer1967 As I have written in the diescription, kick, snare and hi-hat sounds are samples i extracted from the original audio track... Actually, it's the extended version of "You can dance" album, wich starts with a few measures of solo drums pattern, so it's really easy to sample them and isolate the bass, snare and hh sounds with an audio editor (I've used the internal FL Studio "Edison" one).

  • I want to play the bass line with my electric bass. would be that possible if i use some over drive.... SYB-5 Bass Synthesizer maybe?

  • @santulak The SYB-5 Bass Synthesizer is very closer to a Roland TB-303 Bass Line, so it makes an electric bass to sound too "acid" for reproducing the bassline of "Into the groove". With my band we've tried so many ways for reproducing this track live, and, at the end, the best solution for the synth bass to play it directly with a sythesizer. You can use your bass, too, but it's necessary to re-arrange the bassline, because the original one played with an electric bass it's a bit to "noisy".

  • OMG Amazing! I had the Trial Version of FL and a LOOOOOT of time on my hands ;)

Is there a chance you could remake WHERE ALL LIFE BEGINS by Madonna?? It has an AMAZING beat even for None-Madonna lovers lol

  • @ric0banana Good track, I didn't know it till now... Very "nineties" beat of Madonna. Well, frankly speaking, I'm more used to the eighties styles (more synthesizing than sampling) , but maybe in the future... It will be a pleasure :)

  • Like it a lot. Love the bass.

  • @nicke0b Thanks.

  • @photosynthesi love that bass too! I'm trying to get that sound too on a track, wanna help me out? would be greatly appreciated!

  • oh awsome man, once again, realy well done, have u checked out the mix a producer called bestrack has done with this track? if you havnt u should look it up its so good haha,

  • Holy Shit that sounds amazing!

    Great job.

That bass is brilliant. I need to get myself a minimoog vst!

  • Even though I dislike Madonna, I like this Instrumental version. Great work!

  • @Soleilfreak Thanks!

  • SO COOL! seriously i love that 80's bass u've remake on this one.

  • @lloydpopp13 Thanks a lot... Now I can play this bass sequence live on my DX7 (bass1 preset, the same used live on the "Ciao Italia" concert in Turin in 1987 ;) )

  • @photosynthesi ur welcome, wow that's cool. i wish i can have any yamaha dx series. so rare and so good!

  • this is killer! wered u get the drum sounds from tho? im trying to track down a decent vst for this sort of stuff?

  • @suckerpunchx Thanks! Well, the drum sound (Kick, Snare and closed hi hat) are sampled from the original track (the extended version one, that begins only with the drum sounds). I used these samples live in a concert a few days ago for playng Into the groove, loading them into an old (but incredibly powerful!!!) Roland S-550 sampler triggered by hexagonal-shaped Simmons pads. I can assure you the result was astonishing :)

  • However, i think the original drum machine used in Into the groove was a heavly effected Oberheim DMX...

  • sound like sum old school shit

    good beat

  • Good work makes me feel like in the 80 '

  • @Mastertronic Thanks! :)

  • i wanna play this on a piano and still have the same feel.i know there's a lot going on ,and i'm struggling with it.i can play it on bass guitar.there's a video of it on here.

  • bravo, it sounded just like the same. i wish i could play the bass line properly on a musicman stingray bass. it's hard to play it on a real bass rather than on a keyboard. these bass lines are orgasmic to me

  • @NoChrReq Thanks!

    I love these so-articulated basslines too :)

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!! :) I love this song, the bass line is incredible. I want to play it too :) Good job man.

  • @mandurrito Thanks a lot! ;)

  • @photosynthesi How did you do the bassline? with arturia mini moog? is there any preset of this sound? or you change it? it sounds the same like the original ;)

  • @mandurrito The bassline is made by Arturia Minimoog (in the original track, it was made by a Minimoog, in fact). The sound is programmed by me at all, no preset used :) It's not so difficult to do i'll send you the preset i've made for arturia minimoog. You have just to import it.

  • @photosynthesi

Actually the bass in the original track was made using a Roland MKS-80 Super Jupiter rack mount synth.

  • @DHTSciFiArtist You are right, it's an MKS80. The bass sound should be the "I77 Synth Bass 1" preset

    Thanks!

  • @photosynthesi How do you know its an MKS80, it has a similiar sound to a DX7 bass too. Thanks

  • @DHTSciFiArtist What do you mean "original track"? Was there a version prior to the album release? The bassline on that one is a Minimoog, without question.

  • @photosynthesi can I have it, please!!?? thank you.

  • @photosynthesi can I have it, please!!?? thank you.

  • @photosynthesi can I have it, please!!?? thank you.

  • @photosynthesi can I have it, please!!?? thank you.

  • @augieambusher I'll try to send it to you on next days.

    Bye.

  • I just have a quick question. Did Arturia's minimoog show up properly in FL Studio for you? when I try to load the plugin into the sequencer the GUI for minimoog is slightly messed up (menus are shifted downards and the upper menu shows up as a solid white bar) thanks! awesome remake!

  • @Robotaki Thanks! My Arturia's Minimoog VST works fine on my FL Studio 7 and 9. No mess in the gui interface...

  • @photosynthesi Mmmm, my Arturia Minimoog works fine... But i discovered i've the same your problem with my Arturia CS-80v vst: menus are shifted downards!

  • thank you friend for your performance, very good! ok for drums and the bass sound is the same you can hear on the real minimoog model D used for this song.

  • Thank you very much, Marvet65! :DDDD

  • this actually sounds amazingly good :-)

    nice job

  • Thanks! ;D
