  • I just beat a 5.7 Tundra with my stock 2010 civic SI, sorry guys.

  • nice vid dude only reason i'm not a toyota guy is cause everyone acts like they're god, good truck is a good truck idc who made it

  • Single cab right? I can't believe how quick these are.. Even the big heavy loaded 4x4 Tundras move. All you need to do now is buy a better camera :)

  • so bullshit or u forgot to say u got the trd supercharger

  • Comment removed

  • Well I dont know if time slows down when I watch this video but the timer says 7-8 Seconds. SORRY to break this news to you.

  • @ivypete21 Sorry to break this news to you. Let someone else do the counting.

  • @genuinejesse your correct. That guy is retarded and is jjust counting the seconds from the start of the video but you dont start accelerating until like 4 or 5 seconds in

  • @ivypete21 you are so dumb, its unbelievable. Why would you count from the start of the video instead of where the started accelerating. yeah, that makes sense. omg, wish I could slap you.

  • @ivypete21 Buddy, they start accelerating at 5 seconds, and reach 60 at 10.

  • 240p We meet again...

  • @hermanMatthew

Toyota Tundra = most awarded pick up truck ever. I don't see anything embarrassing about that. You being ignorant of the fact that you hauled twice the amount of weight recommended for that truck should be embarrassing. Thank God your carelessness didnt injure you or anyone else. God help GM, Ford, and Ram if Toyota ever decides to make a Dually Diesel Tundra.

  • and as long as you dont put FOUR THOUSAND POUNDS in the bed cuz you have way too high of expectations for your suspension and possibly comparing your truck to a diesel... tundras will last a hell of a lot longer than any dodge... therefore a 10x better investment.. your welcome : )

  • no way this truck is stock... and/or its downhill... and about the previous comment about the dodge hemi being considerably slower after 70... cuz its a truck not a car... geared for towing and low end power not top speed... its higher gears are meant for cruising... thats why its slower... most full size trucks are geared this way...

  • umm..yea, not fooling me, this isnt stock

  • I have a 2010 tundra double cab stock that is good for 6.2-6.5 0-60 times, there is somthing wroung with this video also the 2010's make 391HP. My friend at the Toyota dealer let me go for a ride in a 2010 which they just put a TRD SC kit in we where pulling 0-60 times of 5-5.5sec, funny how the 504HP pulls the same as the stock 07 with 381??

  • chevy

  • I am going to go ahead an guess this dragway was downhill..., because a 6000lb machine with 381hp, cannot do 5.5... The 2011 mustang with 412 hp, weighing nearly half that of the Tundra does 4.4secs, and thats a modern marvel...

  • @brodieboy2008 Well sorry to burst your bubble but ur guess would be wrong. It has and still does it in 5.5sec.

  • @genuinejesse - I'd say that's not too bad! Is it a regular cab, quad cab or the full size crew cab?

  • @genuinejesse God Damn right. Isn't the Tundra sick from 40 mph-70 mph? That is definitely it's sweet spot.

  • @brodieboy2008 Its called shitty american engineering

  • @benchod94 First of all (A) you are a half whit, (B) if you don't like America move to Afghanistan with the rest of the terrorists and (C) My buddy has a 2011 Tundra, they are not this fast. I am going to put up the real video in a few weeks 2011 5.0 F-150 vs 2011 5.7 Tundra.

  • @brodieboy2008 The Tundra uses more american parts and engineering than the F150, and the Tundra has been rated at anywhere between 5.5 and 6.0 seconds to 60 depending on which source you read. I have driven them and they are this fast.

  • @benchod94 not shitty, just cheap and lazy. we dont like spending "unecessary" money on things such as direct injection, DOHC, Ti-VCT, 4v per cylinder..ect. plus, we'll keep the same outdated engine in a truck for 14 years before replacing it **cough** ford f-150 5.4l **cough**

  • @brodieboy2008 1.1 seconds is a LONG time. and i dont know what truck youre talking about but the 07-present tundra weighs a max of 4215 lbs give or take. and this could have been a rcsb. i will vouch for under 6 secs...no doubt.

  • @pfog An Extended 2011 Tundra weighs 5460lbs, look it up on their site.

  • @brodieboy2008 >implying his Tundra is the heaviest most equipped model available. I took an honest video with better launch of my stock except for exhaust upgrade doing at least the factory claim 5.6s 0-60. I run it to 100 too and show that the road is very flat and honest also. Check it out sometime, it's in my videos(my only one)

  • @brodieboy2008 the truck doesnt weight 6000lbs my buddies has 420HP and it will do 0-60 in 6.5sec

  • @brodieboy2008 It is possible trust me. Some Tundra's come with a 4:10 rear gear ratio, and the acceleration is mind blowing. 5.5 sec does sound a bit far-fetched, but I know from first hand experience that it's true.

  • @brodieboy2008 You'd guess wrong. Don't hate, the Tundra dominates from 40-70. I own a 5.7 Double Cab Limited that is a 4X4. As heavy as it is, it flies. My friend owns a 6.2 Silverado SS 2 wheel drive and I beat him by about a half a truck length to 100 mph.

  • @brodieboy2008 Tundra's are quick trucks, as far as new pick ups go they don't tow/haul the most, but them and the new Hemi Rams will do 60 in under 6 seconds no problem bone stock, after about 70 they slow down considerably, that's where the weight and lack of aerodynamics come in to play. But a 1 second difference to 60 is still about 4 or 5 car lengths ahead, and it only gets worse after that, much worse in this case.

  • To the guy who hauled 4,000lbs in a tundra...you're a moron for bashing a half ton not being able to haul that. Any half ton tops out at about 2,000lbs payload, and 3/4 tons at aboit 2500 or 3000. I love how the only people who bash the Tundra don't own one and have no idea about trucks and their capacities lol.

  • @cjfisher2012 actually, i have hauled 4,500 pounds of cement in my 01 ram 1500. with a 112,000 miles on it. I have quite a bit of experience with makin short runs with heavy loads. i know im not supposed to do it but its 40 bucks per trip.. soo if i can do it in one, obviously ill save 40 bucks. sooo if my ram can haul 4,500 pounds, then a new tundra SHOULD be able to. im not sayin i was goin 70 MPH for 100 miles either. it is just up the road goin roughly 25 mph. just sayin.

  • wtf up with the camara?

  • i hauled a bunch of cement from my buddy's girlfriends house from an old back patio. we drove his girlfriend's dad's truck to the dump. it was one truck bed full of busted up cement and it could barely make it there. it was only 4,000 pounds. it was a 5.7 liter tundra. an 09 with 18,000 miles on it to be specific. and it was 4,311 pounds measured by the city. it was pitiful how much trouble it was having hauling that small load. i was embarrassed to be riding around in it...

  • @hermanmatthew23 Everyone knows u dont put 4,000lbs n the bed of a half ton. Heck its not smart to put that much in the bed of a 3/4 ton. Payload capacity is different from towing capacity. Put that amount on a trailer and it would haul it no prob.

  • @genuinejesse well im sorry i bust my ass for a living. idk what you do for a living. but again, i wasnt driving fast. and it was a short distance. the only thing i would hit is a deer. I know not to do that somewhere in the city, but for 3 miles down a dirt road. it works fine. and im working on getting a new trailer. i used to have one but i had to sell it when i was in a pinch for money.

  • @genuinejesse its not smart to be buying a import either :)

  • @hermanmatthew23 LOLOLOL

You out over 2X the max pay-load in the truck and it STILL MADE IT!!! Toyota power bitch!

You would have tried this in any other truck and you would have been screwed.

  • @hermanmatthew23 You are an absolute fucking moron! You put over two tons of payload in a half ton truck?!? Try that in any other half ton, or even one ton truck you dumbass. If you got into an accident overloaded like that, youd likely be imprisoned for gross negligence.

  • @hermanmatthew23 hahahahahaha dont tell your girlfriends dad that you did that. he'll probably beat your ass for being so stupid

  • @hermanmatthew23 Evevn a 1 ton can barely handle that payload. That was just ignorant on your hand to even try that. I don't care what truck you have, that was just stupid. A single rear wheel 1 ton can handle 4900 LBS, a dually 1 ton can handle a little over 6K. Very stupid comment!!!

  • @sfyamaha21 That's because hermanmatthew23 is stupid. He was embarrassed to be riding around in it. Ya right. He should be embarrassed of himself and his stupid comments!!!

  • @hermanmatthew23 You were embarrassed to be riding around in it? Really? What do you drive hotshot?

  • @hermanmatthew23

hahaha..... 4,000lbs is 2 tons buddy...... highest 1/2 ton payload now is like 2100. if it made it that is quite the machine in my opinion. no frame issues? no suspension issues? pretty impressive in my book,

  • @hermanmatthew23 So you overloaded the bed of the truck by 2000lbs over the weight capacity? Wtf is wrong with you bro? No shit it would struggle, any pickup would struggle! You aint in a flatbed fucking truck bro, get a trailer see how that goes.

  • Very impressive.. that's almost as fast as the discontinued Ram SRT10

  • fuck

you are faster than the ram sport

  • I have been up against these and they are quick, quick specs on what I drive, 95 Sierra with a 5.0l tbi, with a 3.5 inch exhaust pipe, the tundra beat me on take off becuae they have a higher rpm range but once past 70mph I pass them because of my engines high torque at 2 3,000 rpm and I pass these before they reach 100mph

  • @chevyllac09 No way in hell would a 5.0 throttle body injected sierra keep up with a truck of this magnitude. Even with the low end torque jump . Even with some serious tuning headers, cam, exhaust, etc. you would still probably lag behind. I doubt the 5.0 tbi even makes 220 rwhp. This thig is pushing into the 300's.

  • @lamiac2411 What do I have to prove to u, I have been up against these and everything Toyota put into them i can do also, they are quick cause of the gear ratios, but u're not even worth my time, i know what I know and stand by it, u can say what u want but all I know is that tundra will not last as long as my Sierra

  • Thats right boys and girls my 2010 5.7 is just as fast Toyota is one bad ass truck. However it does like to suck up the gas driven like that so i dont do it often.

  • @jetman1979 its a Chevy block.

  • who cares if he's a few seconds off even if it was 7 seconds that's damn fast for a fullsize heavy truck like that.

  • @toyotapickup94 my 1995 f150 can do better than this and don't say im full of it because i have raced a 5.7 toyota and whooped the shit out of it.

  • @urmom4877 must be really built cause last f-150 I drove was slower than shit.

  • @toyotapickup94 no that one is 100% stock ive mesured 5.5 seconds to 60.

  • @urmom4877 hahaha oh didn't realize you were measuring in Kilometers. Lets see a video then. but let me guess you conveniently don't have a camera or it broke or something right?

  • @toyotapickup94 nope im talking miles you cocky bitch. and no i don't have a camera but ill more than gladly meet you and whoop your little toyota.

  • @urmom4877 Perfect i'll meet you in my 4.7 tundra! Won't be the first f-150 i've smoked

  • @toyotapickup94 k kennadale? lets see hows saturday the second i'll be there and i hope you like my tail lights there very pretty. oh and the only ford you could smoke with a 4.7 toyota is about a 1953 f100 lol that's if it was running badly.

  • @toyotapickup94 k kennadale tx? lets see hows saturday the second i'll be there and i hope you like my tail lights there very pretty. oh and the only ford you could smoke with a 4.7 toyota is about a 1953 f100 lol that's if it was running badly. oh and for the record i killed a 2008 5.7 extended cab just the other day in that truck. so your 4.7 will be a light breakfast for my f150.

  • @urmom4877 He was probably savin his gas and not even tryin. Well to bad cause thats a few thousand miles away from me so I ain't drivin that far for a pointless race. Thanks for the laughs though! A 95 f150 faster than an 06 32 valve dohc toyota v8 hahahahaha your pretty funny. By the way sadly we use to own a 85 f250 that was slower than shit and sold it cause it was rusting and falling apart.

  • @urmom4877 well if your willing to drive to longview texas i would love to put your 95 f150 to shame with my 5.7 tundra

  • @VirkDS i killed one (08 half cab 2wd 5.7) just the other day why the hell would i drive all that way to prove what i already know. i told you where i will be now if you just want to get your ass whooped then you can show up there.

  • A tacoma could do that but still nice!!

  • 5 or 6 seconds, i dont care, still fuckn fast for a truck

  • 6 sec NICE

  • all these damn trators with there japanese bullshit vehicles

  • @cbeck611 Its actually made in San Antonio Texas.

  • @recycle4earth honestly? its still a foreign company tho wsnt that truck designed from toyota in japan

  • @cbeck611 Nope, was designed in America by Toyota Motor Company America. Japan has no use for full-size pickups like these, and really the only market for these trucks is in America.

  • @cbeck611 The 'Big Three' are private companies, they are not owned by the American government, nor by the American people (well except for the bailout money) and it is NOT my patriotic duty to buy one if I don't want too.

Maybe if American companies would produce trucks that were superior in terms of reliability people like you wouldn't have to defend them with silly arguments about patriotism.

  • @40xmyke haha reliability didnt toyota have recalls on there truck and arent the chevy ford and dodge deisel trucks supposed to be one of the most reliable vehicles you can have yea i think so considering i have 1st person experience with american diesel trucks

  • @cbeck611 First hand experience with American vehicles is exactly why I drive a Toyota. All vehicle manufacturers have recalls, the big three have never done better than average in terms of reliability.

As far as diesel reliability, I'll put a Toyota diesel against an American diesel anyday although they are both good. You should be comparing apples to apples. Both American and Toyota diesels can get over 600,00 miles with proper maintenance.

  • @40xmyke toyotas frames arent even put together solid look at test videos where the tundra is going over big bumps and the bed of the truck shakes and rubs on the cab then they show the f-150 over bumps and the whole frame is solid look at statistics too theres a reason american made trucks have way better resale value which is a big point right there resale value is based mostly on reliability of the vehicle and they have sold way more trucks than toyota especially ford

  • @cbeck611 hint hint buy a ford not this pos that will break down in a bout 70k miles

  • @cbeck611 dude just wait like 10 years and toyota will have better trucks. i like american trucks but you have to see that theyve had a 40 year headstart at building fullsize pick ups. these are the first years for toyota so theyre gonna have mistakes

  • @40xmyke and how come even foreign made semi's use a cummins motor for example volvo semi's all use cummins diesel motor i never heard of a semi with a toyota motor in it and all they do is tow heavy weight and they are built for reliability most semi's have over a million miles on them my friends dad owns clarks and every semi out of the 100+ they have is a cummins diesel and they all have over a million miles

  • @40xmyke ive never seen a JOKE(toyota) go over 150k i have seen fords with 300k im talking gas for the record and i've only seen a JOKE towing one time in my life and that was hay bales and he was only doing like 25mph with a 12ft trailer with a single stack of sq. bales it was almost rubbing the tires and the trailer was loaded properlly.

  • 6 sec

  • dude 6.24 sec i counted on my stopwatch.

  • is this stock?????????????

  • Ram- sucks!

  • 9 seconds big guy

  • Haha, so funny when people think their trucks are fast.

  • i have a suzuki with 120 hp oh yeah, who wants to see vids? anyone? no one? ahh too bad...

  • all you foreign truck buying communists can get the fuck out of my country and take that retard obama with you!

  • Comment removed

  • @RTdakota2001 DATS RITE U AMERICANS BUY JAP TRUCKS LIKE TOYOTA,TITAN GET DA FUK OUT!!!!!!BUY AMERICAN!! & DON'T SAY THERE AMERICAN COMPANIES CUZ THERE NOT!! THEY R JAP OWNED!!!!!!

  • @RTdakota2001 100% wit yah bro i got a RAM MEGA CAB 5.7 LARAMIE LONGBED we stretched it it looks & ride perfect & I still tow a 13,000 LB fifth wheel FUK TITAN & TOYOTA.

  • @RTdakota2001

Your type of people is the reason why we still have abortions. Your a disgrace to Americans and to the entire human race. For sure you were born when your whore mother was drunk and taken advantage of by your piece of shit father. Lol stupid hillbillys are worthless. Tundras are built by fellow stupid hillybillys in Texas shithead. I wonder what its like to be stupid...tell me what its like dakota

  • @RTdakota2001 your a fag.....dodge is german

  • @Nitroheadfool No, It's italian ;) and no it doesnt change the fact that it's still a pile of shit. lol

  • @RTdakota2001 Your a stupid mother fucker aren't you. Toyota may carry the Jap name brand, but it 100% manufactured in the states...which also means it puts Americans to work at the assembly plants...which in turn helps the economy, even if only a little bit. So how old are you exactly? I think maybe 10 because you obviously don't have the slightest clue how an economy works do you. Please refrain from opening your shit eating mouth and proving that evolution did not occur in some of us.

  • @RTdakota2001 hoo rah! to that!!

  • i got ma tundra 5.7 hardly on 6.2 sec .. how did u do that? LOL .. am impressed with ya

  • Just recently got my 07 trd tundra sr5 the truck is fucking amazing and it rips off the line! also just added a super 40 flowmaster it sounds awesome! i can also vouch for this video!

  • Very nice. I am always impressed with these 5.7 Tundras. But I hate the front of them. Such a stupid design. And no matter how fast it goes, at the end of the day when you get out of the truck, people look at it and go "aw look! A Toy Tonka truck!"

Bad grille. Stupid car company name, awesome performance.

I wish the Ram had a 6-speed tran like the tundra.

  • i got around 9 sec so you cant count lol

  • bad ass ! if i had to get a truk it wud b this or the titan

  • gas pedal get stuck?

  • i can do 5.4 sec in my stock ram r/t and i spin more than that and i counted 6 or more sec for that one

  • @adammiller2006 : Lets see the vid...

  • need to get a camera first. thats what it is on my bully dog but i cant save the file

  • A Dodge Ram R/T but no camera. Interesting......

  • its not my camera any way i need to put back tires on it tho i spin about 20 feet then it hooks up

  • @genuinejesse :D . that's make me laught at 6.16 am

  • @genuinejesse LOL ram r/t but no 200doller camara very interesting it smells like b/s! better yet ram shhit! lol

  • @genuinejesse Rams are trash anyways. This past season of Top Gear proved that.

  • @genuinejesse hes got one now

  • @R7300 A camera or a Dodge Ram R/T cause I doubt he has either. lol

  • @adammiller2006

seriously i want the video on that

  • @adammiller2006 wtf... they dnt have ram r/t

  • @adammiller2006 5.4 my double big mac butt. in a srt10 yeah. and if he hadnt have started spinning like he did he would have done better. the 2wd reg cab tundra with just a supercharger runs it in 5.1. my brother does the chat thing so i do know a little, plus I google every thing i can think of and my brother does own a tundra 5.7

  • @adammiller2006 --- adam shut the fuck up and stop talking shit and post a video and prove it before leaving hating ass coment on someones video.

  • @adammiller2006 Im a dodge man myself but you my friend are full of shit

  • это не видео, а слайдшоу

  • Actually you need that torque thing..

  • the worst part about owning a the tundra 5.7 is that no one will race me. absolutly no one.

  • you buy a pickup to race people? i guess my reasoning for owning a truck is for work, and towing around my toys. buy hey, to each their own

  • @clkclkboom04 no one said they bought the truck to race...its just a fun advantage over other truck owners. faster, stronger, bigger....better

  • racing proves your truck is bigger? thats odd...

  • come on...you some of your brain power to comprehend comments. i said it was a fun advantage to have over other truck drivers when your truck is faster. then i went on to say...tundras are faster, stronger, bigger....and better. must i break down every comment for you? do everyone on youtube a favor and get off.

  • oh ok, the "smart" one says "you some of your brain power" and i assure you that a tundra is not a big truck and it is also not stronger, or faster than most

  • oh ya got me there....i made a typo, sick dude...you're cool. the tundra is a big truck....most would agree. no...its not a F350 or a tractor trailer, sorry...it isn't the biggest truck. do i need to break it down more for you...it is a big truck, not the biggest truck. it is very strong...tows 10,800lbs, that is a lot for a half ton. it is also ranked as the #4 fastest stock pickup on the market as of a year or two ago. grab your ankles

  • Really......I though it was having to tell your dad your gay.

  • if you pause this video @ .10 it reads 55mph...........just sayin' its not stock.......but i like it.

  • Any GM or Ford piece of shit can't do that haha Japanese car's are the best car ever made

  • ...Riiiight. Because going fast is actually what trucks are SUPPOSED to do rather than haul, pull, carry..you know..truck functionality.

  • Its whatever you want it to do. Don't be a puppet to society. Look around and you'll see F250 diesels running 10 sec in the quarter.

  • @blackonefifty Well you need power to haul, pull, carry, crawl, mud, or really any 4x4 activity. "Fast" or what I prefer power, if a big advantage. =P Just clearing things out

  • you are a stupid fool

  • Japan ROFL

  • My denali can do it it in 5.4 supercharged not even tuned

  • 6.2L chevy can

  • I have a 2010 Tundra with the 5.7 also. It is by far the fastes truck I have owned. It is a beast of a truck.

  • if you time it its more like 6 seconds flat.

  • this "stock" tundra is noticeably faster than all the other "stock" tundras on the tube...

  • uhh.. that took like 7 to 8 seconds to hit 60, and why do you lose speed at 40mph if you have it floored?

  • the tires were spinning until he hit 2nd

  • its fast i used to have a 05 Tundra

  • bs you floored it the fucking needle went to 40 and then you accelerated a little and got sixty time to get you speedo fixed there buddy nice try..

  • thats no bs dude, have you ever driven a tundra with the 5.7? they are freakin beast i swear to you...my dad has an 08 and ive smoked people off the line because they had no idea the power hiding under the hood

  • I know its hard to believe. I have an 07 with a 5.7 and I can vouch for this vid.

  • @plumprandy Thank u sir!!! Finally someone who actually owns one, sayin how it truly is. Instead of all these posers on here tht think they kno, but really have no idea tha actual power of our trucks.

  • i have a 2000 tundra and i love it i can only imagine how much i love the 2009

  • The 2UZ engine is still pretty reliable :)

  • I just love this Truck, great performance

  • damn quick for a treuck go toyota

  • i would love to line up with this guy :) or any other tundra driver who thinks theyre fast.

  • Hmmm...you must be very stupid. So u dont think the tundra is fast when every publication says it will produce sub to low 6's easily? What kind of truck are u driving. please explain.

  • no. im not saying they are slow at all. theyre fast im not denying it. i guess the second part of that comment was retarded lol.

  • okay. Sry for calling u stupid.. hehe.

  • lol no biggie.

  • no it doesnt.

  • agreed!

  • not a tundra fan but dat was a damn fast truck, still i would rather push my lightning dan drivee a silverado ram titan or tundra. ford all da way baby

  • SVT Lightning is a different kind of truck entirely... not meant to do actual truck things like a Tundra, Ram, Titan, or Silverado.

That being said, they should totally bring back the Lightning.

    And the GMC Sy Ty!

  • @grenade350 I did see the 427 sport truck low to the ground two wheel drive. concept but it may come back. look out all if it does.

  • @grenade350 i wish they would make a stock supercharged ss silverado
