  • what type of floats did you use ? Ive been trying to find floats for mine, that looks awesome...

  • @fin0062 GeeBee floats from tower hobbies.

  • great vid , love the way you say ' crap landing ' as you skid past an upturned model ( ha ha ) his landing was crapier than youres ( ha ha ) if we flew a noisy model like that at such an idylic location in britain - first wed be lynched by the fisherman who line the shore hopeing for some peace and quiet , then wed be arrested for breaching noise pollution laws , good old britain - land of the free my arse !

  • @tbobborap1 Thanks for the kind words, It was a crappy landing LOL! We don't get much crap in our area for noise but we aren't in a greatly populated area. If we did, we'd just grab the 50 bmg (just kidding! LOL).

That old guy that dumped his plane was giving me all kinds of crap that day about flying too fast - Hell, it's a mustang, you have to fly fast and I had it pegged the whole flight just to piss him off, maybe that's why he couldn't take off LOL!

  • I've got the same plane and wanted to put some floats on it. What kind of floats are those?

  • They are GeeBee floats. You can get them through Tower Hobbies.

After installing them, make sure that you're plane is still balanced! Last time I flew this plane, I didn't realize it but the ounce of lead that was on the cowl fell off before my flight and I dumped the plane. It is ok though, just got a little wet.
