It's a damn shame, too, because I've loved Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup ever since I was a kid, and I was relieved when I finally got the courage to buy another can to see if it was just a fluke, and it was. There's just something about it that I love and ever since then it's been fine, but it really bothered me and made me feel uneasy about eating Campbell's soup, I still am a little bit. I would complain if I still had my can but I assumed it was a just new recipe and threw it out.
Oh my GOD, this is a crazy coincidence: I was searching on google to try and find out when they started adding more and bigger pieces of chicken to Campbell's C.N. soup, and found this video.
I'm like 99% sure I had this same thing happen. Without repeating the details I'll just say it was basically the same as you said, the one thing I'd add is it had an odor and slight taste that tasted almost....fishy? Very hard to explain, wasn't HORRIBLE, but not good at all and too unsettling to eat.
i just got two bad cans in a row. one had no noodles, only broth and chicken at the bottom. 2nd can had no chicken, hardly any broth, and all noodles
