It still surprises me, just how lot of people do not know about Kinovelax Diet Plan (just google it), despite the fact that a lot of people get great results because of it. Thanks to my cousin who told me about Kinovelax Diet Plan, I've lost a lot of weight by using it without starving myself.
Terribly misleading.. Plyo is about the least effective thing for fat burning. Also, saying "lean legs" sounds like you can spot-target fat on the legs, which is rubbish.
@chiconspiracy these are low intensity plyos and so can be done for prolonged time, obviously they and nearly any other compund moves can be used to generate an afterburn and also burn lots of calories during them.I would use them sparingly with clients especially beginners and fat ones, they will cause a huge amount of muscle pain the next few days and too much potential for injury in those pops. They can create leaner legs since the fat comes off evrywhere but the legs gain some muscle maybe.
There is no such thing as "low intensity plyo." That's like saying "low aerobic marathon running"
Ploymetrics by any definition are meant to produce explosiveness. That means high stress, high speed movements. Professional and olympic athletes do plyometrics, and they do them fast and with short reps.
And if someone wants "lean legs" then they need do do the same thing for any body part, obtained by eating less than you put in. If you want to increase muscle, heavy squats > this
@chiconspiracy you are mistaken ,there are low and high and moderate intensity of every type of muscle action, plyos included, the low and moderate intensity are done as prep for higher ones ,the term low intensity is relative to depth jumps which are the highest intensity, even low intensity are quick and explosive but much lower impact and tension in the muscle. The amount of reps is inversely proportional to intensity, not necessarily low.You have a lot to learn grasshopper.
I'm quoting directly from an olympic strength training coach.... but of course, you'd know better than one of those....
warmups are not the true plyometric exercise anymore than a light jog is a sprinters exercise.
Any qualified athletics coach knows that plyometrics are never, EVER done till any kindof of serious muscle burn or failure, or they become counterproductive.
But of course, you must know better than they do...
@chiconspiracy sub max sprints are a sprinters warm up and submax plyos are a preparatory method for higher intensity plyos, not just a warm up.Long sets of plyos at lower intensity are not for explosive power, they may be used to build power endurance but would not be done to failure,no.Also, they can be used to build the endurance of the fast twitch muscles in what are termed aerobic plyos. Its all straight from verkoshankys books, the inventor of plyos in russia.
Warmups are NOT the actual plyometric training, anymore than a regular pushup is plyo...
If I do regular slow pushups to warmup for plyo pushups, should I call them plyo? NO.
Also, you still didn't answer for the fact that "lean legs" is rubbish comment, as plyometrics (or low intensity quasi-ploymetrics) burn such an insignificant amount of fat, and build such an insignificant amount of muscle, as to be nearly useless for "lean legs."
@chiconspiracy if i double leg hop on the spot, thats a low intensity plyo warm up for higher intensity plyos. What makes you think low or mid intensity plyos are slow, they use the stretch shortening cylce like the higher ones.Plyos burn no fat typically ,they burn carbs during exercise and fat in the afterburn like all anaerobic exercise,so they create a greater calorie deficit as part of a circuit and hense fat loss. They dont build much muscle but will maintain it while losing fat .
You'll burn more carbs while doing these exercises because they are anaerobic however you will burn more overall calories from carbs and fat when compared to steady-state cardio. Also, this type of training boost metabolism for the remainder of the day allowing for a greater after-burn of calories which will put you in a caloric deficit, if the diet is on point, and that is all that is needed for fat loss.
Cool... but aren't those kind of explosive exercises more focused into carbohydrates burn instead of fat burn??I mean, non aerobic rather than long time, constant aerobic exercises like running at 60% heart rate??
