@josechepe80 No, however depending on what WiFi signal you use (e.g. 802.11b/g/n), it could potentially slow down your connection.

DD-WRT is for Linksys routers. Not Apple branded routers. If you get one, just keep most if all of the settings at the default and the security at the highest possible.

well the airport extreme goes up to 5oo-600 feet but u need a modem to connect it to so u can use it its jus like a regular router except it ahs a sweet design but other routers goes much farther such as to laredo texas to tampa
