  • I hate APUSH!!... but i do have an A in the class though....but this video helps thanks

  • wayyy more complicated for me now. shiitt. confusing.

  • Don't restate the thesis--it is considered flipping the question. You need clear evidence in your thesis. Do try to use the majority of the docs.

  • "Never restate the provided documents"

This is wrong from what I know. In fact, quoting the documents (4-6 words max) is VERY useful in supporting your thesis, or proving bias.

  • thank god i my teacher knows how to teach the DBQ's

his students always place in the top percentile in the country for the DBQ

    :)

  • p.s. evendence?

  • probably one of the hardest videos to read but good tips

you should list them in your description box

  • yeah, she took a class on AP over the summer and her teacher is one of the people that read the tests soo yeah

  • thanks :)

  • My AP teacher told us to restate the question as our thesis and that we had to use at least 90%

  • my tips are going off of the actual rubric used by AP Exam graders, so you may want your teacher to check that unless it has changed in the last 7 months

  • worst thing you could do

  • @XxBuckeyepridexX Do NOT simply restate the thesis. Especially for a DBQ you are going to want to have your thesis consist of the categories in which you assigned the documents into while mentioning something relating to the thesis. If your thesis is : "How did the global flow of silver between the 1500-1800s affect the economic, political, and cultural development of the world at the time?" Do not flip those around and call if fine and dandy. Categorize your documents then make a complex thesis

  • Impressive APUSHers!!!! I will share this with my students. :)

  • Thank you very much! I want to be an AP teacher so that means a lot!

  • hey nice vid and song even though i dont know how the tips would help me now......lolz they probably will when im in high school ^_^ !! thnx!! lolz ;)
