@bmarcinczyk14 I sold the mustang for a lifted silverado. so i dont have the exhaust anymore. when i ran the o/r x pipe it was a hell of a lot louder! lucky i had cool neighbors that really liked my car

I have an '03 Mustang GT with Magnaflow catback and a bassani o/r x-pipe on the way. Did you need the MIL eliminator to stop the check engine light from flashing or does everything work for you? Please let me know, thanks!

@Copperdog230 Nice setup by the way! I didn't use the MIL eliminators..I have a computer i kept plugged in, and everytime it threw a code ide just clear it...It actually took like a week for it to throw a code once i put the o/r pipe on though.

Do you have stock manifolds or headers? do you have just the super 40's mufflers or the whole catback exhaust kit? And did you get the bassani pipe from american muscle by any chance? I got bbk shory headers, pypes x-pipe and custom catback with flowmaster original 40 series. sound similar to yours but mines not quite as loud. I'm thinking of swapping out the pypes with a bassani. Good sound though dude, wicked good.

Oh ya, dosen't the x pipe make the car illegal as far as inspections go?

All i have done is bolt ons. Depends on where your live. If yur city makes you do emissions then yes this will bot pass. The x-pipe i bought is MODULAR. Meaning i can slip cats in at any time very easily.

Ok, I'll be honest, I have no idea or clue about cars. I love them, but just can't do shit with them. My step dad is a dealer and I scored a 03 GT with after market headers and exhaust, (flowmaster 2 so I'm told), only 26k on the motor. Our mechanic says this car was built for racing. Has lower gears as well, I'm guessing, I do 80mph but really only 60mph. My question is how do I get it to sound like yours, or like a NASCAR, cheap??? Baffels and bassani

Sounds like you need to set your computer to change the speedo to read with the gear set up. If you go under your car and look at the flowmaster there should be a number on them. type it in on flowmaster web site and it will show you ones to buy...showing you the ones you have.

Sounds awesome. I love how an ORX and Flowmasters sound together.

The best is when the rpm's are coming back down and at around 3k rpm. I love how the tone of the exhaust completely changes. I do have one request. Could you make a video of what it sounds like from inside the car? Not just WOT but normal driving. Just go up through the gears and definitely give me some more of that deceleration sound.
