  • Nice one. Very effective.

  • what scale are you using?

  • which of the delay effects you actually use to get this sound?

what is the exact configuration of the Select button effect?

  • a few seconds maybe. The important thing is that you needto be able to bypass the delay input and play something over the loop that is not delayed, and then add something else to the loop, bypass again and solo some more.

  • what your settings?in this your video?

  • Green only pedal gives you the effect you used?

I can pass the configuration of that effect?

  • @nefelibatabass

There is only delay, that is the only effect.

  • which pedal do you use to have this effect? Where is the line 6 delay, which configuration is used? very good sound ...

  • @nefelibatabass

It's the green one that all the guitarists seem to have. I forget the number DL6 maybe. I think there is a new model out now though.

  • Really nice playing... love the fretless - very smooth

  • Enjoyable bass playing Dave. Nice you shared it. And Eberhard Weber is such a fine bassist and composer. Wonderful music to learn from and be inspired by.

  • Beautiful phrasing there man

  • Are you using flatwounds or roundwounds?

  • Brilliant! Thanks for this musical moment, it cheered up my day.

  • Wow. Forgot how I got here but this seriously reminds me of John Broomhall's Geoscape tracks from "X-COM: UFO Defense"/"UFO: Enemy Unknown" on the PC and original PlayStation. /raina

  • It probably is. :D

  • not bad at all. if you like could you please tel me what you think of my jam using a delay.

    thanks,

    brett

  • APPLAUSE for David

  • lovely !

Good idea to make a tribute to Eberhard Weber. I mailed his agent and it seems he's doing fine but needs a lot of time to get back in shape again.

    greetings

    Elimk

  • Please tell what is he sick or something ?

  • He had a stroke half year ago.

  • Thats really bad I hope he makes a full recovery,I don't know much about him but I love his music,I have silent feet,Later that evening and the following morning.

  • Great albums. The last one I played at least a hundered times. Some call his music typical european jazzsound. What do you think ?

  • I wouldnt know if it were european sounding or not I do know its the ECM lable style,Iv thought some of Eberhards music sounds trippy.

  • Really really musical. Love the phrasing.

  • Yeah David, this is really cool.

  • Very cool! Nice to hear something on this side from you.

Btw is that really a fretless bass? I see frets...although it does sound fretless.

  • Thanks. Yes fretless bass, you can see the fret marks as I had the frets taken out.

  • That's cool. Handy that you can still see the frets actually ;)

  • Fantastic construction, I enjoy this a lot.
