The 'pod shit' actually doesn't sound too far off to be honest . You should check out some pod demos of 5150s/rectos/engls etc, it's pretty good tone for metal.
@sleepy502 I've tried mine with a ton of cabs... I like the G-flex 2x12 most with pretty much everything, but the speakers are kind of meh. Easy fix with a couple of Texas Heats.

@joeboogie83 No. Bass treb mid were @ noon. OD was at 1 o clock and I forget where everything else was.

peavey jsx's work best with a mesa rec 2x12. greenbacks are a completely different speaker, they aren't "bad", just different.
