I love that little half second pause before everybody erupts in cheers. I was watching at home and in that half second I was thinking "Did he swing? Did he miss? Is the game over? Are we the world champs?" And when I realized the answer was YES, the celebration was on! GO PHILLIES! The Race to Repeat in '09 IS ON!

I was at the game in 1980. Had seats in the 700 level. I was 19 yrs. old w/ my 3 best friends. It definitely was awesome then, as it is now. Didn't have tix this year, but I watched the game w/ those same friends, and our families. Both experiences were EQUALLY great. Championships don't get old or boring.
