  • do you know the shelf life of the coleman fuel canisters and things of that sort?

  • Appreciating your intent but differ in results. Piece of mind will be momentary if fire or massive flooding is what you contend with...that is a flammable and toxic congestion. Under an ideal scenario this is a large BBQ/Outdoor party set-up, but for survival this can kill or disable and be rendered useless. Ventilation is imperative here and this isn't a solution for long term demands. Your efforts and intention grand...simply further, redundancy is good...just my .02 what it's worth.

  • Those jugs are NOT good for ultraviolet filtration. They are too big, and not clear. However, their main fault is just their size. Ultraviolet filtration is best with smaller amounts of water, or large amounts of water that is spread over a larger area so the radiation can penetrate the water sufficiently. It cannot do that in a decent amount of time in jugs that are that wide.

  • It is very clever of you to find such nice supplies from yard sales! Those lamps look really nice. They look cool on the shelf. Nice video.

  • great video

  • Good job but he still needs stuff for the MWG Man with Gun.

  • I think this was from the YT'er called mytruth15....I assume he died because last year or maybe the years before that he mentioned being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. I had several great online conversations with him. Wish I could send a note to his family.

  • @999manman Prior to his death Tom started a new YT channel that he called silentfallsthemoment.

  • that bug spray shit is garbage my parents used to use that stuff all the time and there were always bugs in our house

  • Not many people think of pest control. Well done. Buy powdered chlorine rather than liquid bleach for LTS. The liquid degrades in amazingly short order.

  • Frig, can I bunk with you?

  • "PEACE OF MIND" What a wonderful thing!,,GREAT video!

  • Mean Green - that stuff is awesome!

  • You don't show any firearms and ammo, That should be #1 on your list because If all hell ever did break loose and people like me run out of supplies, your supplies would be up for grabs.....

  • You rock I did not think of bug spray for the house can't call the bug man at that point huh..

  • Only problem I see is no less than 4 different kinds of fuel you're using.

You should try to reduce that to one or two at most. That burner you're using with the little bottles is probably the hardest to find.

The least volatile fuel is kerosene. You can get kerosene stoves and Alladin lanterns that run on that. Kerosene is the safest to store, and sealed containers will store indefinitely.

You can also get damned effective kerosene heaters that truly can heat your whole house.

  • Garage sales are the best places to stock up at, you can find some amazing deals. The kerosene lamps are a good addition too.

  • thanks for the video and good ideas

  • Well done I am glad you made the comment about womens needs. Sometimes people will forget the basics that can make a huge differnce later.

  • Thank you for the great video! I'd rather have the supplies and not need them, than to need them and not have them. I hope things never get so bad that we have to rely on our storage items, but in this day and age, you just never know.

  • Don't let water sit in anything plastic when you set it out in the sun to purify.

  • great vid 5/5 and added to my fav list

  • yes its a great video i seen it b4. tks
