  • The H-Man is one of the few true sci-fi classics to be brought to the US from Japan. This fan trailer is an excellant homage to it. I loved it. Keep up the good work.

  • Un cousin du Blob que j'ai vu dans les années 70.

  • I like the old Japanese sci fi movies. They really tried their best to demonize the nuclear bomb.

  • ``Look! It's GODZILLA!'' ``No it's a slime monster that resembles the blob.'' ``Still we should run , like it is Godzilla!'' ``Though it isn't.'' AHHH!!!!!!

  • @Retrofanatic10 goldmember ftw

  • where's jackie chan and chris tucker when you need em'?

  • @Backspace85all Hey idiot neither jackie chan or chris tucker we're born yet when this film came out . As It was I was 2yrs old myself, so I maybe wrong about jackie though. But i'm dfefinitely right about CT. If your now going to rate it right, save your juvenile snide remarks. we don't need or want them.

  • @40klad83 whoa whoa calm down, just making speculations, my man.

  • Same here, saw this late at night on tv as a kid, by myself. Creeped me out.

  • @lekocafe What about gladiator movies?

  • Deberían hacer la remake de esta película, así como se hizo una muy buena remake de Godzilla.

Personalmente me gusta o me asusta más The H man que The Blob. Tiene un argumento más elaborado, gansters, números musicales, FX terroríficos y hasta un mensaje ecológico.

  • Saw this in the " grand " theater on a saterday afternoon when i was a kid.....walked home down the middle of the street away from dark alleys and sewer covers......did'nt want Jelly ( Jello ) with my tinned fruit and custard on Sunday...they only " liquid " that was running anywere was brown and running down my leg ! ( Oh happy days when the " bougieman " was more dangerous that the nut case politicians we have today ! )

  • preperation h-man

  • its scrubing bubbles the movie.

  • @drafe007 ha

  • @drafe007 and who could be the fiend behind such a insidous plot at world domination. none other the neferious criminal mastermind

    mr. bubble!!

  • Ayiiii! Tha BROB! Tha BROB! Sorry couldn't resist that. Hey don't get me wrong I remember being scared witless by this when I was a little kid!

  • @chodeshadar18 hahaha good one

  • @chodeshadar18 that poor frog!

  • Terrifying film. Scarier than "Tetsuo the Iron Man".

  • Oh yeah, I remember watching this on chiller theater as a kid and it scared the tar outta me! especially the part where they were on the ship and the H-Man got those sailors! Great sci-fi horror here.

  • I saw this as a boy and it scared the hell out of me......at the driven theater

  • @annierose11 the us version is dubed soo badley, but this movie gives me goosebumbs too lol

  • Me too Annie! This was the first movie I was ever taken to. 5 years old! Set me off to a flying start!

  • Too bad I can't find the U.S. trailer on here. But I can help out:

    Is he man?...

    OR ASTRO-MAN?!?!?!?!?!

heheh... "Handa." Hey, can I get a "Handa?" Hahaha! Typos are hilarious.

  • I didn't see this in a theater, but rather on afternoon TV in the early '60s. There is a scene in this film involving some attractive "nightclub dancers" that was very impressive to me as an adolescent boy. I'm sure it's pretty tame now, but not then. I've been fond of this flick ever since, but you never see it on TV anymore.

  • o yea. This was a marvolus film. Make sure to subscribe

  • nice, i like the 50's special effects

  • o hell yea. Make sure to subcribe

  • Epic! Fantastic! I remember this movie from when I was a little boy.I can`t thank you enough. Consider this.. the time period inwhich this was made. A decade after World War Two. Only ONE nation on Earth suffered the large-scale havoc of nuclear attack-Japan. In an eerie way, I feel that some writer was using the God-given talent of the arts to warn us about where our unstrained lust for hyper techno-warfare may lead..Churchill it the dark light of perverted science. WAGE PEACE!

  • it is epic isn't it. Remember to subscribe :)

  • @dingane19

Ah hell the entire movie used to be on youtube now I can't find it. Yeah this was a great movie, was considered a Jap knock-off of The Blob but it was better in a lot of ways.

  • my friend use to have it up (the Japanese virsion) and his acount was suspended because of it.

  • Looks like everyone in Tokyo has a gun.

  • yep

  • Wow dude! This is awesome! It really shows just how great the movie is! Well done! 5/5

  • I only wish i used the original Japanese virsion instead of the english virsion. thank you very much.

  • Man. I gotta have this.

  • worth getting

  • Wow, this scared the hell outta me when I was a kid.

  • I know right :)

  • Toho should put you on the payroll. I just added this DVD to my Netflix Q because of your trailer.

  • thnak you

  • AT 1:01 into the video-the guy in the light grey suit looking down is none other that The Human Vapor himself, Yoshio Tsuchiya! He's always been one of my favorite actors.

  • nice eye. I noticed that the first time I watched it

  • Easily some of the best news I've heard in a long time. Yay for unexpurgated Toho tokusatsu films!

  • Your welcome.

  • Classic Media (Sony) is FINALLY gonna release the DVD of "The H-Man"/""Bijou To Ekitai-Ningen" ("Beauty And The Fluid-Men") later this summer. So, we finally get to see the (ahem!!) "R-Rated" Nightclub Dancer-Gets-Devoured scene in it's fullest (all we previously got was an expurgated version).

    I'm waiting nervously, ya'll!!

  • wow i did'nt know that. Thanks for the info :)

  • Dig. Subscribe to davidsytvid. He actually have the TRUE VERSION "preview posted" right now. Let me tell ya', it's lookin' good. Now, I've GOT to get that DVD. ^_^

  • him and I are friends

  • Dang. TOHO's 'monster-lawyers' had my boy's page ZAPPED. No Prob. At least the DVD is coming out in summer. So, I'm ready nonetheless.

  • Wow, seriously great news! Thanks for sharing.

  • According to VIDEOZONE/Phantom Of The Movies mag--this brother has been on the ball for 23 years, so pick up the latest issue--The H-MAN is part of a new Sony/Classic Media-Toho DELUX series, along with BATTLE IN OUTER SPACE, REBIRTH OF MOTHRA 3: KING GHIDORAH ATTACKS (took a long-ass while!!), and (FINALLY!!!) the original, uncut, widescreen and Stereo MOTHRA (1961). If they add commentary from Hiroshi Koizumi-sensei, then I'm there!! DIG!!

And, Sony said "THIS SUMMER!!" Yes!!
