It's no different with God then it is with mankind in that when we sin (break a law) that we go to court and stand before a judge. We are not going to be able to stand before the judge and say.... "I know I broke the law but I am sorry and won't happen again.."
The judge is simply not going to let us go, there are consequences. God is no different. If you were guilty, and the judge sentenced you to 25 years here on earth, then suddenly, someone stood up, and said "Judge I will pay his fine, and do the time for him (you)", how would you react to that? You would be blown away watching someone get hauled off to jail for 25 years in your place (if you were not shocked then something is really wrong with you).

I had been to church but it was when I didn't care. Church IS boring. I needed something, someone to give me faith and hope to keep living. Not because my family (that wasnt my mom or brother) were religious. My family is catholic. I am Christian.

Between unearthed artifacts, collaborating evidences from famous historical figures, to the debunking of scientific claims I have all that I need. None of these of which even remotely manipulate history or slant the evidence. If one wants to really see the proof, one only has to look.
Couple those points with all the various prophecies that have been written of thousands of years ago, and I personally am confronted with even more reasons to believe. If you were guilty, and the judge sentenced you to 25 years here on earth, then suddenly, someone stood up, and said "Judge I will pay his fine, and do the time for him (you)", how would you react to that? however these beliefs are based on imperacle data there is enough actuall evidence to warrent further investigation so no science is not a religion and does not require faith to believe in because it uses deductive reasoning and logic. religion however is "thats the way it is" why? "just is" and that southpark episode was a joke. ;)

How can we possibly know that man is the only creature that knows that they will eventually die? Last time I checked we can't see the world through any other creature's eyes nor can they tell us what it is like. It's nothing but sheer arrogance and self-centeredness to think that humans are the only living things capable of any internal thought or emotion.

What sort of God would force his creation to regret their transgressions and admit that their sins were mistakes? A God who does not understand human nature.

telling someone they are born into sin, implies that you are guilty of sin from birth and thus you need a saviour/// that is how your religion spreads, you push guilt onto people and then claim they can evade their eternal punishment by subscribing to your religion, it should be a crime in and of itself, there are good people on this earth if you cant see them due to your belief system, you should def. question said belief system, you arent much better than a drug dealer in my eyes

Nah, Jesus got nailed to that tree for blasphemy, nothing more. If he "cleanses of from all sin" then why do we still sin? The bible was written by man, not God.How can anybody know if they are going somewhere we have no proof exists? You are correct, I believe by faith. However, more and more evidence is being produced to even further substantiate what I believe. Between unearthed artifacts, collaborating evidences from famous historical figures, to the debunking of scientific claims I have all that I need. None of these of which even remotely manipulate history or slant the evidence. If one wants to really see the proof, one only has to look.

Couple those points with all the various prophecies that have been written of thousands of years ago, and I personally am confronted with even more reasons to believe. I have been presented with an insurmountable grocery list of evidence and according to the facts the checkout line is fast approaching. So do I get angry or offended by people that do not believe as I do? Not at all, not remotely. Do I care? Yes, I really do, or this video would not have been posted.

take a look at EVERY christian around. they all hate gays, and abortion, and when we call you hateful, you use the bible as an excuse to act the way you do. i make perfect sense. but only people with a brain of their own understand that. and BTW there would have to be a god to be angry with him :) your religion is based on FAITH not facts. FAITH is believing in things you cannot prove. FACTS are proof that something is real. and a book written by men, is NOT proof.

The bible was writen by brilliant people that realized we are still animals. Therefore it should be interpreted by such. Not your average lay person who takes things for face value.
And what is the purpose of hell. It just seperates people and makes things like hate possible. It's like saying i can't go here because i'm different.
