  • Very interesting video. I have been to Azerbaijan Republic and Georgia, but I have yet to visit Armenia. That would make my trip to South Qafqaz complete, and I hope to go there from Iran (Megri border).

so many beautiful things in armenia. the people, the music, the food, the culture, the architecture...

to see your video took me back there as many of the places mentioned are the same places that i visited.

  • Cool! Guis are you arminioan s of origine? Better if you are not: the more valuable your testemny is :)

  • The guy in the video is an Englishman and it was his time in the country.

  • Thanx!

  • awesome video!!!

  • ive been to yerevan also good to see it again, try it in the winter if you dare, dave (uk)

  • I am Armenian and i wanted to thank you VERY MUCH for the video <3 in my opinion, no one has really traveled unless they have been to Armenia.

  • Mate, if you plan to go this year to Armenia, you must visit Arcax for sure. It is wonderful, safe and welcoming. The nature is fabulous, the food just to taste.

As to the safety of Armenia: it is safer than any other country I have lived or visited before.

  • Boghbojuk, thanks for the advise! We will most definately visit Arcax! Sounds like a very nice place! And I agree on your statements about the safety and that being poor is a relative thing. British people see a lot of richness and celebrity world around them, so for them being rich is very material. Judging from my family in Armenia, for them being rich is being able to provide for your family well and being able to look after the people you love.

  • I was been most of this playses!!!! mmmmm.....IT`s so BEAUTIFUL!!!! Armenia is the best country!! :)))))

  • very nice

  • nice video. only one problem, failed to show some of the night life there. its beautiful from some of the pics ive seen.

  • .B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.

  • I have always wanted to see armenia, thank you for making the video

  • This is really beautiful! Great job!!!

  • Armenia is the first country to receive Christianity,Georgia the second,Armenia&Georgia=brothers!

    Cheers!

    Georgian from Boston

  • Btw, to the makers of the video... thank you for an honest perspective on life in Armenia.

  • Thank you! :)

  • cool vid

is anyone in ur family armenian or did u just visit for fun?

  • My mum is Armenian so half of my extended family lives there. My husband, who stars in the video, has never been to Armenia before though so he was giving his honest thoughts as a first time tourist.

  • i don't plan to go there but as i'm a british citizen and in my citizen guide lines saying that its a dangerous place. shall i believe you or british government?

  • British goverment looks at the political situation in the country as far as I understand. They have classified it as a dangerous place because it has a disagreement with Azerbayjan about its anclave in Nagorni Karabakh. But if you go to the main Armenia as a tourist you will be perfectly safe. And btw, check what british goverment is saying about other countries such as Spain. You will be surprised.

  • Very nice video. I was thinking I have been almost everywhere.. but as i can see definitely not. Armenia really looks beautiful. I will make it to Armenia this year. is it expensive there?

  • Generally it is really cheap and most of the sights have free entry. I hope you will enjoy your trip! We are planning to go back this year too.

  • thank you for replying..

    have a good time there!

  • Overall sights were very nice to see, couldn't hear much of the documentary, background noise was a bit much and after the first 2 minutes the annoying flute music I could have done without.

  • Probably, the best thing: 'the annoying flute'. Armenia deserves more than a 2 minutes attention...

  • great vid could have cut some jokes out though

  • Sir Winston Churchill only preferred Armenian cognac...but nowdays there r lots of fraud, u should know where to buy from..as I am not into that either I have no clue myself lol ...and ty for the respond abt accent;)yeah..some part sound really British, somes are a bit diferent;) But I love all brit accents...

  • haha yeah you shouldnt go tho chinese restaurant in Armenia lol. If you want some nice food, just go to proshyan street =]. Did you try Armenian cognac? It is second best next to France's. What about museums? Did you go to Erebuni and Sardarapat museum?

  • We heard that Armenian cogniac is supposed to be the best in the world! :) Although we are not drinkers so we didn't try it. We will definately go to Proshyan street next time we are there. What restaurant would you recommend? We went to Erebuni, but unfortunately there was not enough time to go to Sardarapat during that trip. Erebuni is great! :)

  • It sounds British but I mean where exactly;)

  • Living in South but the accent is a mix and match really. He was born in Europe.

  • Oh...my husband been to Armenia now 3 times and we never thought to make a film lol...

I am just wondering what accent is this?;)

  • Thank you!!!

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!

  • Nice, really honest, and I am glad these guys enjoyed their visit. Who are the people who made the film? Was it just a tourist visit ? or other reason:) nice job

  • The guy in the film is my husband and we were visiting my family there. It was his first time in Armenia so he is giving his objective thoughts. :)

  • Dude, i want to go to armenia after watching this vid! btw, good humor!

  • So , handsome..how much do u weigh?? lol Correction..genocide happened in Western Armenia ( not Turkey)...which is Eastern Turkey nowdays...

  • Very Nice Video. It reminded me of a lot of places when i was there this past November. Very beautiful Ancient Country.

  • A bit sarcastic, but generally true picture of what modern Armenia is.

  • very nice video!!

    ARMENIAAAAAAA!!!
