Just for the record Mongolia was never under control of China! We where under control of Manchu(Qing Dynasty) from late 17th century to early 20th century. Today's Chinese people are are not that Manchu people, they are deferent ethnicity. In fact the one who built Qing Dynasty(estp.1616), Nurhaci was Mongolian.

From early 11th century to early 17th century Manchu and the other Chinese people where under control of The Mongol Empire. It was known as the Yuan Dynasty and later on Ming dynasty.
