Its not really that hard to follow.....Your an assassin and u have to kill templars because they caused the death of your brothers and father. And pretty much ruined your life. Thats pretty much the game.
You make it seem so bad in the majority of the video. But then again as I remember, your right about most of it. Oh btw, how did you get the altiar skin?
Really? I didnt think the game was bad and certainly had no intention of making it seem so.
I got the Altair skin from the U-play bonus feature in the main menu of the game. You can also get another assassins tomb and many other things from this too.
I will say, however, that the combat doesn't feel as visceral as the original game though. I think they had to cut down on the zooming camera angles when you counter / assassinate someone in the sequel because of all the new combat options they included, and I kind of missed that.
I wouldn't call the ending dumb, but I definitely would've liked more details. That was blatant sequel baiting. =P
Overall though, epic game! Assassins Creed remains my favorite new series in this generation.
I will have to disagree with you on the controls. I've heard other reviewers complain about them as well, but I've always found them to be excellent (if not perfect.) Also I wouldn't say the combat has been dumbed down, it's just that counters aren't the answer to everything anymore (and that's the way it should be.) The heavy armor / heavy weapon enemies in this game makes you think on your feet a little more instead of just waiting to counter every incoming attack.
@Hereticked I dont really criticize the controls, Im just saying that the free running isnt as responsive as the original, fair enough on the combat but I find its just a button mashing or counter spamming session now , where as the original you had to time the attack button to do a combo, and counters wernt blocked every 5 seconds.
If your timing with the counter is perfect, it won't be blocked. They just give you a lower margin for error when facing the medium armor and heavy armor guys. I think that's fair since it was very easy to counter the shit out of everyone in the first game. They wanted to force you to mix it up a bit, use other attacks and strategies.

yea i tried to beat all of my old nintendo 64 games like mario or Donkey Kong 64. so far DK has been the hardest becuz theres this part where you have to play and old style mario game. it sux cuz you HAVE to beat it to get 100% in the game.
Lol I remember that..damn I wish they would make that game available on the wii for download..but they cant because rare is owned by microsoft and donkey kong is now owned by nintendo.

Well I figuered that since everybody I know on youtube had done their review on this already, I might as well take my time with the game.
It will be interesting to see what they do with the third game, Ive read some interviews about it but nothing concrete yet.

Yeah its a great series and even though I feel the ending was quite stupid I shall anticipate the third and last game in the trilogy.

Lol, yeah actually In my opinion the story is the main draw,then the cinematic feel of the series.

the best you can do is an emulator. but that shit is hard to get used to.
im lucky that i beat Zelda on one.
I also miss alot of pS1 games too.
