Thats right Spike. What I heard was it was a Land Rover chassis and the bodyworks of whatever Bentley as someone had bought the genuine Bentley chassis for spares or restoration.

What I don't understand is the practice of follow-ins. If some bugger had kissed the wall and has been stopped then why not go for someone who is still moving.

It is surely a matter of time before there's a serious fold-up, driver gets mashed & the H&S brigade hits the sport like a ton o bricks.

Why dont you actually go to a proper banger meet one day? See all the bluebirds, primeras, mondeos etc, firecracker is a tin meet, where it's old cars only, "rare historical item", if you care so much about these old cars getting wrecked then why the f**k aren't you putting you're money where yo're mouth is and buying them yourself?! Most of these cars are sold on ebay, so get yourself an account and buy every classic car that might end up on the track...or dont bloody moan about it!
