The thing is, the Mayan calender had to end SOMEWHERE. Starting at 3,000 BC or probably earlier than that, they make an accurate calender that goes on and on and on well passed anything they will ever need. So where does it stop? Its trivial. this is really just depicting changes the world had between hundreds/thousands of years ago up until now. with the mayan's doomsday clock and a bunch of other religion prophecies mixed in. a wall clock at 11:59pm will go to 12am forever or until the batteries run out and the mayan calander will end 2012 and it will start at 2013 and cover the same amount of time as it did before. and remember, "people will dance all night long" 3:00 LoL

Simply put the idea that the world will end in 2012 is rubbish. The Maya clearly show that there will be a large change but not that the world will end. It is ture however, that the magnetic poles of the earth are switching and that they will likely go through a major change areound that year. Also, the earthquake facts are skewed. We have more indicators for earth quakes so we pick up more of the seismic actvity. there isn't an increase.

Its a generalization man, not meant to be 'proof', its like look around you, kids dont obey/respect their elders anymore, more and more drugs and sex, and violence before age of 14..more gangs, teen deaths/stabbings/shootings...etc .etc etc.....its just general.
The photos that go along with the quotes arent meant to be 'proof' per se, more like....look around you, could this quote not be taken as true? (to an extent)

2. Ever try living somewhere BESIDES America? Here in Malaysia, kids rarely disrespect their parents, there's never any shootings and stabbings, and drugs are so rare the common person wont know what most of them are - most have never heard of meth, heorine, PCP, etc.
3. I see your point, but a deeper side to my last post is that all this is being "made up" in a way.

There are dozens of countries where there is very little social unrest commonly seen in America. School shootings are mostly an American phenomenon. More people are shot/stabbed/raped in America in a day than some other countries in a year. Just because its happening there doesn't mean its happening elsewhere and cant be taken as "evidence" of anything. Maybe the cultural norms of America just suck?

Finally, this whole "earth quakes are everywhere" and "there's more storms now than ever" thing is wrong. OF COURSE it appears that way when you've now got Dopler Radar and can literally see every storm that happens anywhere on Earth. It doesn't mean they're happening more often, it simply means you can see more than you could before. In the 1500s I doubt everyone wrote down every hurricane and tornado that happened. Same goes for earth quakes.

You are right though, it could be no different than any time in history, we just have no way of really knowing how kids acted/treated elders back then.
As for it all being made up....the whole human drama is 'made up' in a sense. Social guidelines/ Moral guidelines only hold bearing in our heads. They are not objective realities.

Also, I do agree with the earthquake thing.
But I think the prophecy kinda means earthquakes in human populated areas, causing deaths etc...
And its a fact that these are increasing, regardless of measurement tools etc.
But could be also, cuz humans populate more surface area now though. hmmm

Not to offend u but u kinda seem lika angry child. Kinda like my kid sis, she is 21. Children r angry and disrespectful. I love my (good) parents to death they also piss me off. Im bout 25 and I was alot more angry when I was young. My point for this response to ur comment is: Its just a figure or picture of speech. U kno the 1 were the baby is giving us the bird. Like the baby would really kno that the middle finger means F-off.

The thing is, the Mayan calender had to end SOMEWHERE. Starting at 3,000 BC or probably earlier than that, they make an accurate calender that goes on and on and on well passed anything they will ever need. So where does it stop? Its trivial. If they stopped at 3,000 AD then it'd be boring as we'd have no gloom-and-doom stories to make money off of and we'd be hearing about the Aztec or some other calender. Hell if one didn't exist they'd make one up.

this "end of days" theory ties in nicely with the FACT that is the international and world banks. numerous times in de past dey have created periods of massive debt and economic decline which dey make BILLIONS of dollars on! nd dis could be der next one (im not saying its fact or that im right, just dat if you think about it, it kinda makes sense) im nt trying to piss people off here or offend anyone, im just saying "open your minds to the posibility of your beliefes not being entirely factual"

as i was saying about the multiple theorys, "ZEITGEIST" explains (or at least makes the best effort i have ever seen, to explain religion). now if you understand what the documentary explains it is not to dificult to realise that these different "proficies" are just people throught history echoing the past (i mean, how many people do you know have said something that they heard but claimed it was theirs? it happens everyday) in my personal opinion...

sounds like y2k all over again, maybe you should check out this movie called "ZEITGEIST". now that is a more believeable documentary. This just taking evidence and making it fit a theory (or multiple ones, i'll make reference to this in my next comment). And even if this does turn out to be true, whats the point in telling anyone? because:
1. we dont have the power to stop it
and
2. we dont have the technology to move planet
so being in a state of knowing this "information" is utterly useless.
