If you move Brown into their leagues however, there's no chance he would have been successful. The fact that Sanders walked away when he was so close to the record shows how much he didn't care what people thought of him. When you are as good as him, it doesn't matter if you have a record or not. He didn't need a record he could have easily got to validate his career. He walked away when he felt it was time to do so. Emmitt held on to pad his stats, it was pathetic. Sanders walked away at the top of his game, that is class.
