  • Crack adult.

  • Dammit he almost had it.

  • I dare you to find footage of defenders meeting Emmitt in the backfield as soon as he touches the ball. Especially during his prime seasons.

  • Thats all folks

  • barry sanders loses yards emmit didnt

  • emmitt was the most complete back of all time...people trip me out when they say, "he just had a good o-line" & barry didnt" have a line"

please barry sanders had no less than 2 pro bowlers on his o-line at any given time through out his career.

people act like emmitt was running down the field for 30 yards before he had any contact.

  • @thetruthis9

This is true.... My main argument for Emmitt being the best is that he had 17 playoff touchdowns.... Barry 1, Jim Brown 1, I think Walter had a few.... It's so obvious that if you're going into a big game that you'd want 22 behind the hogs.

  • @ithrowtdz Laurence Maroney has more playoff touchdowns than Barry Sanders does that make him better ?

  • @Playboyy1985

    Yes

  • @ithrowtdz

LOL this is battle of running backs. Not teams. The lions sucked. They made it to the playoffs once. Why are you comparing playoff visits? that's a team game. But if you want to play the stat game here you go.

  • @ithrowtdz He played for 10 years

and all 10 years he had 1100+ yard running seasons. Emmit?

Barry had an average of 5 yards per carry. Emmit had 4.3?

Barry had 2 MVP's... Emmit? None...?

Barry had 2000+ yard running season... Emmit? 1700?

    14 consecutive 100 yard games... Emmit? 7?

  • @daylight0912

You're fuckin stupid.... Barry had 1 MVP award and so did emmitt in 93 dumb ass

Emmitt had more 1000 yard seasons than any player ever

All time leading rusher and all time rushing touchdown leader.... and 3 superbowl..... and 17 playoff touchdowns....

Fucking goober alerting my phone for this horse shit.... go back to sleep you fuck

  • @ithrowtdz As you're right.

He played more years than barry.

How can you bring superbowl and playoffs into this. Who did barry have on his team?

I'll alert your phone all I want you dumb cracker. I'll go to sleep when I shove my foot up your ass. Look at this gump.

  • nice to see he took advantage of the free college education

  • Ok, so he's not perfect, but he's a Champion haters!

  • Best R.B.s ever

    Payton

    Sanders

and maybe Smith sneaks in around three

I only say Payton was better because he was surely, without argument the more well rounded back between he and sanders. He had much better hands, returned kicks, kicked field goals, threw the ball and blocked in addition to running at a high level. And was the ONLY offensive weapon the bears possessed for a number of years. The lions and cowboys possessed more than did the bears during any one year. Look at team probowls #s

  • no Jim Brown?

  • No, Jim Brown played in a league, which if Payton, Sanders, or Smith had played in, they each would have had 25000+ rushing yards. If you move Brown into their leagues however, there's no chance he would have been successful. While Jim Brown was an exceptional 2 sport athlete, he was not a well rounded back in the sense that Payton, or even Sanders was. He had a brutish running style which only worked because of his relative size. He was as big as most of his lineman, larger than the d.

  • agreed, same goes throughout every sport in basketball and baseball too, no1 is throwin 100 mile an hour fast balls back in babe ruth's days

  • I think I speak for everyone when I say, "What?"

  • emmit took alot of shots to the head during his days in NFL

  • lol, what runningback DOESNT

  • Great remark!

  • sanders > smith.

  • @JBelgrave

Has anyone seen Barry Sanders's Superbowl rings?

  • @ithrowtdz Teams win championships. Not individual players. You really think Barry wouldn't have won as many if he were on the Cowboys?

  • @JBelgrave

    Did he?

  • emmitt is very annoying

  • "tomkier3" Subjective opinion on an entertaining running back aside, objective facts; Emmitt all time leading rusher, SB MVP, 3 SB rings, ran for 1,000 behind a crappy line in Arizona while Derrick Hambrick didn't behind Dallas' o-line. Barry has the NFL record for most negative yards 1,114 add that to his positive and he is still only #2 . . . . .stop taking the "IF ONLY" pill!

  • lol ur a dumb ass. barry was at 15500 (rounded the hundreds) on 10 seasons. It took Emmit 15 seasons to rush for 18,somethin. Barry woulda got more yards had he played longer-to bad hes not greedy lil' fuck like emmit who stated (at the beggining of his career) "I'm going to get the record" barry didnt care for it. he coulda easssssilly got it. and the negative yards were because he had a crappy line (most likely crappier than the arizon cardinals line). barry had a crap team he couldnt get SB.

  • The fact that Sanders walked away when he was so close to the record shows how much he didn't care what people thought of him. When you are as good as him, it doesn't matter if you have a record or not. He didn't need a record he could have easily got to validate his career. He walked away when he felt it was time to do so. Emmitt held on to pad his stats, it was pathetic. Sanders walked away at the top of his game, that is class.

  • @colefernandez47

any clown that thinks Barry walking away from the game in his prime was classy, is a moron.

Barry retired because he couldnt get his way, so he held out, then retired. yeah, sooo classy.

  • poor emmitt, LOL

  • emmit: "big murstakes by steve mercnair today."

  • harison had harison hadtodayso

  • eventhough emmitt had more touchdowns than barry sanders, at least barry has more vocabulary words

  • Is it me, or does he sound exactly like Will Smith on this video? Lol.

  • it's you..

  • i can't call barry sanders the best cause he didn't have any heart for the game. heart counts for something and smiths was way bigger.

  • comparing Emmitt Smith with Barry Sanders is laughable. Sanders is better. Case closed. Cowboys fans, shutup and stop drinking the koolaid

  • "You're just a hater you lil bitch. Sanders quite because he couldn't handle the losing anymore like a bitch.

At least when emmitt had his rough years he didn't quit even when he was with the Cardinals. Quiters are never better CASE CLOSED BITCHES

  • He wasn't a "quitter". He left b/c he didn't have the passion for the game, and didn't stay just to break a record, which is a decision I can respect.

  • Please, Emmitt is the most over rated rb. Lordvalium thinks his line was bad? Sure, it was all Emmitt, and his "rice of passage". He can't string 5 words together that make sense. Conjugate your verbs please... then again don't, because watching clips like this is very amusing. He has a BA from Florida? What a joke.

  • Excuse me people, but can we focus here? This is about Emmitt Smith not only failing to recall the name of the NFL's best-known corners, but actually having to stop himself from calling Al Harris "Al Wilson", and then calling him "Al Jackson". There is no way to imitate Emmitt Smith...his unintentional comedic gold can only be cultivated in his uniquely bizarre(and somewhat retarded) brain.

  • how is that funny?

  • Barry Sanders is the NFL's all time leader in runs of negative yards.

  • is he really?

  • That's right haha

  • Still better than Emmitt.

  • @butterknife25 Barry Sanders had a special type of running style. Granted yes he did... but you would have to take some of the goods with the bads. But if you want to play the stat game.

    He played for 10 years

and all 10 years he had 1100+ yard running seasons. Emmit?

Barry had an average of 5 yards per carry. Emmit had 4.3?

Barry had 2 MVP's... Emmit? None...?

Barry had 2000+ yard running season... Emmit? 1700?

    14 consecutive 100 yard games... Emmit? 7?

  • @butterknife25 Barry Sanders didn't have the luxury of running behind arguably the greatest offensive line in NFL history, as well as having a HOF QB or WR take the pressure off of him

  • That O-line wasn't great until Emmitt got there and when Emmitt was out nobody else was breaking records and winning titles. Weak argument. Emmitt never quit, Barry did.

  • Duh. Duh. Duh.

  • emmit: "did i mention i hold the all time rushing title and 3 superbowl rings"

  • Barry Sanders would have made him look like a chump if he played behind that line.

  • Thank you. Finally someone with sense.

  • if if if if if if if if if that's all I hear from you Emmit haters lol

    Fucking amusing.

  • emmit: "big murstakes by steve mercnair today."
