I would like to say to those who question the realsim.

This is NOT fighting. It is simply an advancement in practicing techniques. It is designed to teach you to apply techniques on a moving opponent who doesn't want you to do it. All you BJJ guys who waffle on about realism. Do you spar with broken bottles, real knives, baseball bat wielding coke-heads who can't feel pain? Your 'realism' is DESIGNED for sport. A sport designed to show off BJJ. Get over yourselves.

@aikifan77 you have seriously got to be joking?Ive done wrestling and bjj for 5yrs now but for 17 years i was obsessed with tkd,boxing and muay in succession.This is possibly the worst display of black belts ive ever seen.If you spar like that,forget self defense,they would be killed outside the dojang and inside any dojo/jang/gym ive evr been in .Id be hiding that video not posting it on youtube.Bjj comps arent realistic but do train attributes needed for fighting and positional dominance.

Don't get me wrong I've done full contact as both an amateur and semi pro but when it comes to sparring nowadays I can't afford to go into work with the black eyes and fat lips that come with the territory

@aikifan77 id be more concerned with the non existance of any fundamental posture,defense,attack,techniq­ue or anything to do with fighting than whether gear is worn or not.If you are one of the guys in that video,you definitely have never done any full contact unless it was a kids comp.

Now heres the thing: you claim we are a disgrace to our art when in reality you are disgracing the whole way of martial arts. Its not all about the fight, all you want to do is prove that you can beat us or want to fight and youve asked to fight for no reason at all. Now the real honour would be to pick out our faults, tell us how to correct them, thus making us better fighters for you to have more competition and therefore making you want to train harder to still be the self-acclaimed "best".
