@Asadsaib Not really, but vaguely. You see one scene at the end of this video where Revy and Rock "kiss" with their cigarettes. That's sort of the most of it. There's subtle romance which manifests in mutual respect.

@awcomeon why does it make sense for the anime to be in english when it was created and released in Japan first. We got this show straight from japan, so technically....it makes more logical sense for it to be in japanese because that is how it originally is :)

@KrazyLoveless Based on the storyline and characters it makes more logical sense for it to be in mostly English or to be even more technical multilingual considering all of the cultures involved (i.e. American, Japanese, Russian etc.) Revy, Dutch, and Benny are supposed to be speaking English and only English. They are American. Don't forget the language barrier towards the end either.

@nokshor I'm fully aware of that, thanks. However, Blood: The Last Vampire hired English speaking and English/Japanese bilingual voice actors. It's as simple as hiring actors that can speak the language and using subtitles when necessary. It makes it more authentic. To be honest, in the dub it would've been nice if Swaile attempted a slight Japanese accent. But I guess that's asking for too much authenticity.
