I had this phone for a week and instantly wanted a newer phone. It's good for texting, emailing, and calling. If that's all you do with a phone then buy it if you don't want to pay a lot. And the camera isn't very good. Of course I'm speaking about a phone that came out in 2008 that was good back then. But now I wouldn't suggest buying it.

Some times when go online on the phone it freezes and wont move. Then it will vibrate and got to the main menu. but other than that I love it. I like to custimize it buy downloading ringtones and screen savers.

I have this phone, it butt dials a lot and it turns off by it's self sometimes. Other then that it's awesome. I love the lay out of the text messaging. The battery can last up to about a day unless you call someone, calling someone can take a lot of battery. Hope I helped.

one thing i do like is the way the keyboard is set up, & it has an okay camera.

this phone is ok and is a lot better than the rumor and some other messaging phones. music is good, texting is great, camera is ok, and web browser is pretty fast. tv is jerky and low quality, and video recording is horrible, but it is a good phone. nothing compared to something like the epic 4g though.

This phone sucks. The battery doesn't even last me a day, I've yet to get a personal ringtone, it loves to turn off when I flip it out to a keyboard, the U button doesn't work, I don't get internet (Thank you mom and dad), and the camera is terrible. I will have LG Rumor on monday replacing my Samsung Rant. After I have read the differences in between phones. I think I will keep my Rant and dealt with it. The LG Rumor is older than rant and the Rant has more features just got to learn how to operate... The Rant has video cam, and multiple contact meaning you can send; Text--pix--video to multiple different contacts at once..

I've had this phone for a year now, and it's really not as bad as everyone says. I love the keypad, it's great for texting! And if anyone tells you the Rant is a "cheap" phone, they lied. My phone has gotten wet TWICE and it still works. I love my Rant, but I will be getting a new phone soon.

DON'T GET THIS PHONE!! it sucks ass. It freezes up just like the Rumor. It'll turn on and off by itself..and lose all your memory. if you download 1 thing on it it will lose all it's memory!! then you have to delete it. texting on it sucks because the words pop up slower then what you text. Sadly, voice memos are only limited to 1 minute (meaning you can only record for 1 minute). I think it would be better to put songs on the phone by SD card rather than to record it?

this phone is without a doubt the worst phone for pocket dialing ive ever used. Also the low batter noise you cant even hear the person talking. Its the last call u can make but its not worth making because of the beeping. I guess alot of phones are guilty of this. The unlocking in the pocket thing really just drives me nuts though. All my numbers get changed around its sending emails and shit while im just going about my business working.

i have this phone and it's pretty shitty, especially when you don't have internet for it. you can't add ringtones to it unless you have internet, and it recieves texts extremely late sometimes. me and a friend tested this by having him text me while i was sitting next to him. i got the text ten minutes later. it totally fucks up a conversation. for example, right now i'm texting someone and she has no idea what i'm talking about because i'm getting everything three minutes after they were sent

do not get this phone. it is glitchy and freezes. it doesn't have an outbox for texts even though it says it does, so you'll be re-typing a lot of texts when they fail to send. the browser it comes with is a joke, you can't scroll sideways so you can't read anything. opera mini doesn't work on it unless you use a really old version. the only thing good about the rant is the keyboard is nice.
