they're both the same, but sony is coming out with a PSP go, which is going to be even thinner, and slide open like a phone. there is no UMD slot, all games are downloaded. They are still selling the originals, though

The slim is pointless, for one, you cant even run homebrew because its already upgraded too far when u buy it new. The old one isnt even much bigger, plus you get all the homebrews you want.

Id advise you keep your old one if you have it, the slim is a waste of money.

I have a fat and my m8 has a slim. The slim sorta feels like its cheap and fragile, but the fat seems more sturdy and solid. The slims umd door also looks very weak and u have to open it with ur hands so if u apply too much force u can easily break it, unlike the fat cuz it has a swich that opens the umd door.

Not to mention the slim is much harder to mod and cannot use 1.5 kernal addon.

dude as you can see the slims back is smooth there is an intendency that it slip while youre playing while the fat has a rough back so the grip will not be slippery i prefer fat and you know in fat if you charged it full you can play for 7 houres while slim 3-4 hours only and you cant play youre psp slim when charging in fat psp you can play when charginh
