nice and verry helpful video, Can you make another video in order to show how you use the ergoplay troester? I tested it and failed because the troester is gliding of my leg and somewhat slippery in comparison with the tappert model, which I'm always using. But I like the angle of the troester and now I'm irritated.
Have you used the Murata support system? and if so, how does it compare with the ergoplay? I'm mostly worried about the ergoplay slipping off mid performance.(4:38)
Is the Ergoplay suitable for me as a steel-string player that plays with the guitar usually on the right leg? I want to get the neck angled up a bit to have better reach and comfort.
@DuskY1991 Yes, since I have made this video I have started to use the ergoplay troester most often. I would suggest the ergoplay troester for you since steel string guitars generally are shaped a little different than classical guitars and troesters offer the most amount of setting variations. It should allow you to accommodate for any shape or style guitar, I highly recommend it :)
@richardstadlerguitar Thanks for the reply! What do you think of the Tappert model? I currently have a dreadnought cutaway, so yes I would have to mount it a bit differently indeed. I play a lot of fingerstyle and also like to use the classical position from time to time. But I have no foot stool which kind of prevents me from using it. That's when I came across the Ergoplay, I saw guitarists like Antoine Dufour and Peter Finger use them in the same way I described in my first comment.

Excellent video. I have a question though:
Is the Ergoplay suitable for me as a steel-string player that plays with the guitar usually on the right leg? I want to get the neck angled up a bit to have better reach and comfort.
