How can someone not funded by the healthcare industry work against healthcare reform in this country? Have we been so misguided that not only will we hold the gun to our own head, but we'll pull the trigger as well? This will benefit everyone. We need to reform healthcare in this country NOW!!!
But isn't that the real issue? We have millions of people who aren't covered. We have millions who become bankrupt due to health care costs and we have a health insurance industry that's more concerned with profits than the health of their customers. These are the facts and they've been explained very well. Unfortunately, the health insurance companies have most of our politicians in their hip pocket.
My own father recently passed and I often wondered how many of the decisions about the care he received at the end of his life were made for the benefit of the system and for the bottom line of others and not based on what his own personal wishes were. Our system is far from perfect and we can't change everything about it but we can no longer ignore those imperfections that are a direct result of seeding a bottom line that no longer delivers anywhere near what it promises.

The first video went to explaining this response - they need you to stop yelling and articulate WHY you need it PROPERLY...
I already have it in Australia and love it. While we do need more capital invested in our public systems, our private systems run a ok ;-)
