I like Japan because of it's "cute" things. Cute stationary, stuffed animals, cell phone charms, that sort. I also like the Japanese writing. Not a huge fan of how it sounds, but the characters are pretty nice. I like Miyazaki's films. I am not a fan of most anime shows or a lot of the manga art styles though. I love Japanese food. It is very yummy. And I love Japanese video games! One thing I hate about Japanese culture though: J-pop.

I got in japanese culture when I was very little the first anime I ever watched was guyver and it changed my life. then I had a foreign exchange student come and visit us four times and each time he brought kamen rider and ultraman stuff and that really got me into japanese culture. especially kamen rider. henshin shows when I was little had a profound effect on me. I wanna move to japan because I just genuinely enjoy everything about Japan.

I lived in Japan for 5 years in Aomori Prefecture. I love Japan. Just the simple things like being able to pay bills at a convenience store, finding anything you want in a vending machine and the politeness and good manners of Japanese citizens boggles my mind. It took a while to get used to the alternative styles of clothing and television, not to mention driving in the U.S. after 5 years in Japan. If you're still in Japan, live you life in the moment. It's a great place to live.

I've always liked watching martial arts movies like Jackie Chan (Legend of Drunken Master and First Strike). I first go interested in Japanese when I started watching this anime called Onegai Teacher. Before that I'd would watch DBZ but I had not idea that it was made in Japan.
