  • this is great , but.... i just think it sucks that you didnt add on the wonderful thing at the end: the idea that God DOES forgive. it shouldnt just be about their regret....

  • @janedoe1994chick Yeah, I thought the same thing. It's explained in the notes for the video that it was an introduction for a sermon and that the sermon finished the idea that forgiveness is always available for us, no matter how bad we've messed up. But you're right, the video alone doesn't give the whole message.

  • @mickeydougal ..How can He keep forgiving us, I mean...I try to do better, and I'll never stop believing in him, but..how can he forgive me again,

  • @dupbr13 because He truly WANTS to, that's how. You've got to understand, God doesn't want bad things for us, ever. It's simply because we walk away in our sins that bad things happen. But He ALWAYS wants us back and ALWAYS wants to bless us. It's hard to grasp sometimes, especially the way "religions" want to paint a different picture. God wants the best for you. Period.

  • @mickeydougal what if u keep messing up over and over though

  • @dupbr13 it doesn't change God. He still wants the best for you and for you to come to Him for forgiveness. Your messing up doesn't change His love for you.

  • @dupbr13 my dear :God will forgive u as long as u keep asking him for forgievness, but u have 2 know that u have 2 be sincere about not commiting the same sin again at the moment u ask God 4 his forgiveness ,i know u may do the same mistake or sin again but u have 2 keep asking him and he will forgive u ,we all human we are not angles God created as and he knows that .but u should know1 important thing that there's only 1 God that is the creater of all existence,he dosen't have son or patner .

  • My "heaven" will be cursing through space in interstellar flight with Carl Sagan, George Carlin, and Douglas Adams.

  • @Messmaster08 I can only assume you meant "cruising" through space, although with George Carlin, "cursing" might be the right word, LOL!

  • @mickeydougal lol yeah I was on my iPad when I wrote that and auto correction changed it to cursing.

  • god is way to powerful to not forgive u i did something bad myself and now im praying . Everything turns out good dont belive what other people tell you .As Long as you belive in yourself everything will turn out good .God Is There In The Good And In The Bad He's Always Forgiving Everything is going to be fine Gl

  • If you believe in God then don't post here. If you don't like us then why be here?

  • he dosnt forgive the all the priests who fuck little boys, why? becasue it gives god something to jack off too

  • "How can God forgive me?"

    Easy as 3 simple steps.

1 - Pick a God and convince yourself he/she/it/they are real.

2 - convince yourself your new God forgives you by pleading or making deals or giving money to your new cult, or whatever you think it takes.

    3 - ta-da! Your God forgives you!

    Isn't delusional thinking easy?

  • @mickeydougal I wouldn't know, I'm not an Atheist. I do however, have a strong aversion to fictional, sadistic bullshit. That doesn't make me angry, it makes me honest.

  • How can God forgive you? Nothing is impossible for him, thats how. Moses killed an Egyptian before he came to know the God of his ancestors, and then he led his people out of their captivity 40 years later. If you come to him with your whole heart and turn from your sinful ways, then yes he is faithful to forgive any sin. You have to be sincere and be prepared to do what he tells you though. If you spend time reading his word and meditate on it, you will find him. He makes all things brand new.

  • Lol I love religious battles[: I don't know a lot about Hinduism, I'm sorry. But I would like to say I know a lot about Christianity. But it sounds like you don't. At the end of our '70 years' on this earth we will go to either heaven or hell. I hope to see you in heaven maybe. But heaven is not hawaii. Not even close.

  • You can love Jesus and still be a fire fighter and help those on earth. Simple as that. There's no one side, you can have Jesus and still be a civilized person.

  • @Nerdybudy19 yes but u have just one shot - we get many. Also our goals are diff - urs is how do i get to heaven? How is god going to make ME happy? All about u - Hinduism asks u to think of others, others come first, put others first as Gandhiji, Mother Teresa & MLK & their like have done.

  • @ramaraksha01 Christians do not have those goals exactly. Heaven is gods reward for doing has he commanded. And we don't focus on how god will make us happy either. Our greatest commandment is to praise and love our god. But don't think that would make us wrong? Our second greatest commandment is to treat others the way you would want to be treated. Please don't be offended, or offend others, I am not saying your beliefs are wrong, I am just saying what you said about us is wrong.

  • Jesus paid for all our sins that is how. By surrendering to God, repenting of our sins and praising him and dare I say testify and minister to others.

  • @johnnyroyal75 Who is jesus to pay for ur sins? and didn't he die a long time ago? How does jesus paying for ur sins help the victim? u are abusing the victim, if u are truly repentent don't fob off ur guilt onto jesus, go help that victim. Go apologize to ur victim, try to see if you can make amends. Talking is not doing.

Don't be selfish - it's not about how u can feel better about urself - it's about doing the right thing for the victim - that's Hinduism for u.

  • @ramaraksha01 Obviously your not a Christian.

  • I am sorry but it is not God's place to forgive u, only the victim has the right to forgive u. Say ur kid comes to u the father & says Dad i broke tommy's toy, pl forgive me. Should u do that? No, u take him to Tommy's house, make him apologize to Tommy & his parents, then take Tommy to a Toy Store & buy him a new Toy out of ur Kids allowance. That is good parenting.

But it is also the hard thing to do, but the right thing to do.

Primitive religions hand out easy carrots to make u convert.

  • @ramaraksha01 Obviously your not a Christian.

  • God already forgave 2,000 years ago... believing in Jesus enables entrance into the "kingdom of God" which is within us, not the sky... it was the Jews 2000 years ago who "needed' to accept Jesus as their Messiah to avoid the destruction of Jerusalem in AD70... what most people think of the "last days" was the last days of the Old Covenant world / age, not planet earth.

Pray about these things... stop listening to preachers, God is our teacher!

    Peace

  • @LoveJesusNotReligion I don't need to go to some nice place & sit on my butt in retirement. Looks like a religion is telling u what u want to hear - what happens after death? Oh i go to a nice hawaii if i belive in this god? how nice.

We Hindus are reborn - we are the chosen people - while u guys are running away from earth's problems, we rush in. While people were running away from the 2 towers on 9/11, the firefighters rushed in - that's us.

  • @LoveJesusNotReligion Choose to Stay & Fight. The earth has a lot of problems - diseases, kooky dictators, nuclear weapons, terrorism - who do u think is going to fight them & save earth? We Hindus are ready to do the job! We Stay, We will fight for a better earth! Join Us!

Any fool can sit in heaven & praise God, but Blessed are the Hindus who aim to earn Praise FROM God! We aim to make God proud of us.

  • @ramaraksha01

Religious labels are just a cover... God, no matter what we call Him, if Father and Creator to us ALL... when people truly realize that, we will make this world a much better place.

    Peace to you :-)

  • @ramaraksha01 What a fool you are in saying you want praise FROM God?!The Alpha And Omega!! God protects you from these things! Do not fight for a better earth! The earth IS all of these bad things! Do not love the earth, but love God ! The one who has a plan for you! How will you know what that plan is if you love the earth and not our God? Save people from these things with the power of Christ. Do NOT love the earth. Love God, and follow Jesus, and you will earn your place in heaven.

  • @Sodapop1188 Let's see if this is logical - u live 70 odd yrs & because u are born in the right religion & has learnt to beg & grovel u get to live in Hawaii for eternity? God has nothing better to do than feed & cloth billions till eternity? If eternity = 100 yrs, what would 70 yrs be? A 1/2 second? 1/10th of a second? That 1/10th of a second determines ur fate for eternity? What was this big point of being born for 1/10th of a second again? So, being born doesn't matter?

  • @Sodapop1188 Let's take another example: say a child dies at the age of 3, She goes straight to heaven right? So by living, she may get closer to Hell! Better off to die at an early age. By living u make a mistake & might end up in Hell! Why take the risk? Just better off to die early - spend eternity in Hawaii! Yay! And yet, funny, elderly christians fight to stay alive! Making all kinds of deals to stay alive on this stupid earth when u could be in Hawaii with God!

  • @Sodapop1188 We want to follow in the footsteps of Gandhiji, Mother Teresa, MLK & millions of people who laid down their lives for a better earth! Firefighters who rushed into the 9/11 buildings, police, soldiers & so many unknown who gave their lives! We won't let their sacrifice go in vain! We Hindus elect to stay! We will fight for a better Earth! We will Earn Praise FROM God!

U are welcome to join us or keep dreaming about this nice hawaii. Keep believing in the tooth fairy too.

  • God loves you he may hate the sin but never the sinner. please read john 3:16

you are so brave to post your story. God will bless you for telling a story that has need top be said to many young woman.

  • did the 2nd one actually happen?!

  • its pretty sad that people (like most christians) beleive that most of the population of the world is going to be tortured forever im glad your sadistic pathetic little god is not real and if he is, i will cock slap him

  • thank you for making this

  • He started pressuring you to have sex? OH NO! Because OBVIOUSLY it is SO BAD to have sex, seeing as the bible really doesn't say Sex is bad, it says adultery is bad, and adultery is different from fornification... lol fail.

  • @MyManThong It says fornication is bad too.

  • @M400fan I remember it saying adultery was bad, and I remember it saying that if you have sex with someone and you two aren't married, you have to marry them and never leave. I don't remember fornification.

  • @MyManThong Not sure where you're getting the second one from, but it is certainly advisable to do that. Regarding fornication, look up 1 Cor 6:9 (sexually immoral includes fornication), Heb 13:4 - again, a distinction - older translations have "fornicators" - sexually immoral means the same thing. Jesus makes the distinction too in Matt 15:19. Hope that helps. Sex is a gift of God but marriage is the only place in which He has decreed that it is to be practised - and enjoyed!

  • @M400fan God is dead, look it up. Anyhow, Sexual immorality? Where does it say what that is? How do you know it includes fornification? How do you know it doesn't mean that if you don't have sex before marriage, you'll go to hell?

  • @MyManThong Er, where do I look it up? God is clearly not dead - His handiwork is all around us, as He sustains this planet and works out His purposes on a daily basis! The Greek for sexual immorality (pornea) means all sex outwith marriage. It's a very wide word, but that's what it means in a nutshell. And you're right, those who don't have sex before marriage will go to Hell - unless they have repented of their sins and trusted Jesus Christ alone to be Saviour, Lord and great Treasure.

  • @M400fan "God is dead" is a phrase made up by Friedrich Nietzsche years ago. Oh, and why would god send people to hell, unless he is a jerk? So, thank you for praising a jerk- god who doesn't even exist. Oh, and does god also sustain all of the raping that occurs, and all of the murder, too?

  • @MyManThong Yes, I knew the phrase was one of Nietzsche's - just wanted to know if you did. Big influence on Hitler - good source to quote, eh? I prefer the word of a perfect God over fallible men any day. God sends people to Hell because He is just and pure and holy and men, by their own choice, are corupt, impure and sinful. Man is responsible and God allows him to behave in whichever way man chooses - but there will be a day of reckoning for all of us - you are clearly not ready for it.

  • @M400fan If god is so perfect, then why doesn't he at least have the decency to exist? (: I'm not ready for it? Look, do you know how many religions have come and gone? If you were living in Rome 2,000 years ago you'd believe in Zeus, if you were born in India right now you'd believe in Shiva. Do you not see that there are thousands of religions, and yet, not a single one of them can explain why their religion is right, and all the others are wrong?

  • @MyManThong Your first question is entirely circular - he does exist - look at the world around you - so complex, so beautiful, so in harmony - and, yes, so fallen and imperfect too - yet God has explained in the Bible why that is! And what He's done about it - and what He WILL do about it ultimately. Yes, there ARE thousands of religions and I agree, NONE of them can explain why they are right and all the others are wrong.....except Christianity. Why? Jesus Christ is risen from the dead!

  • @M400fan Okay, my question wasn't so much a question, more a joke. And My statement was circular? "God exists, because the bible exists, and the bible is right because God wrote it." That's circular, and yet you believe it, correct? And, Christianity fails on many accounts, specifically that there are many other religions that claim that their prophecies rose from the grave, just like Jesus.

  • @MyManThong OK, so it was a joke. I didn't say God exists because the Bible exists, but actually while we're on it - did you know that the Bible is the most attacked book of faith in history, yet it is still the best seller and has been translated into almost 10 times as many languages as any other book ever written? I was saying that creation proves there is a God. Btw, what other religions and what is the evidence?

  • @M400fan In Greek Mythology, Achilles was resurrected. And Creation doesn't prove God, because if everything that was created had a creator, who created God? Did you know the bible has been mistranslated thousands of times, and that it has dozens of contradictions in it?

  • @MyManThong That's Greek mythology - not even a religion. You said religions - plural - give me two examples, and how they were prophesied too. Jesus Christ's existence is not in dispute - Josephus and Tacitus were not Christians yet include him in their writings - they are respected historians from the era. Yes, the Bible has been mistranslated, but it has also been remarkably preserved down through the ages and has survived every attack on it. Please name just one contradiction.

  • @M400fan Greek Mythology is a religion. People believe in Jupiter and all that jazz. Yes, Greek Mythology is a religion, just like Christian Mythology is. And Jesus Christ's existence is still not completely said yes or no. I believe Jesus was a real person, however. BUT I don't think he did miracles, but I do believe he preached of peace and loving your neighbors. "Thou Shall Not Kill", yet God killed the entire planet in the supposed "Great Flood".

  • @MyManThong No, Greek mythology is not a religion - do you know anyone who has followed it for, like, centuries? I asked you for two religions that prophesied that their leader would rise from the dead - although I don't accept that Greek mythology is a religion (certainly not one that has been believed for centuries), even if I did accept that, where is your other one? You said religionS. Christianity is not mythology - it is widely attested historical fact. I'll continue this in "part two".

  • @MyManThong If you believe that Jesus preached peace and taught us to love our neighbours, then on what basis do you reject the rest of the gospels? Just because you can't accept that miracles could happen? So if the gospel writers were either lying or deluded, why believe ANYTHING they wrote? Your last sentence is correct - the reason God says we are not to kill is because vengeance IS His NOT OURS - He has the absolute right to destroy every one of us - but none of us has that right.

  • @M400fan Talking snake? Magic burning bush? God made himself a human to have himself be killed to please himself? Woman shouldn't talk in church? Woman shouldn't have more authority then men? I don't know which part makes you realize its insane, but the beginning was where I left off.

  • @MyManThong You're avoiding my questions - please answer them. You are clearly spiritually blind, as you are not receiving the things of God because they are follishness to you. The Bible speaks clearly about people like you, whose minds are darkened. Can't you accept that, if there IS a God, He can do anything He wants? And that He is not bound by our own perception of what is logical and reasonable? It's atheism that's insane - no explanation of why we're here or where we're going - no hope.

  • @M400fan Okay, you think Christianity is right because the bible says its right? well, the Quran says you are wrong, SO YOU STUPID CHRISTIANS ARE WRONG! HA! [Doesn't make much sense, does it?]

and the thing is, Atheism doesn't make up random, fairy tale stories to understand the universe. And if you think God made the universe, Where did God come from? Who made the creator of the creation? Or, does God not have a creation? Then why does the universe need a creator?

  • @MyManThong I believe Christianity is true because Jesus Christ rose from the dead. No other faith on Earth has any similar claim and the resurrection is a massively attested historical fact. God was not created - He has always been. That's why He is God. He is the primary cause of which everything else is the effect. Creation is matter - matter needs to be created. God is not matter - He is spirit - He does not need to be created. Can I suggest you get hold of the book Who Made God?

  • @M400fan Horus was born on December 25, to a virgin. He died, and then came back to life. Nobody was sure if he died, but people claim he died and came back. Same thing with Jesus, nobody knew if he was dead, my logical guess is he passed out, and he eventually woke back up after they laid him down. So, if god is a spirit, then are we spirits? So did we all live before God made us? And how could god have always existed? Uhm... ... how does that make sense...?

  • @MyManThong Jesus could not have been born on Dec 25 - that was an invention of the RCC - shepherds would not have slept in the open in the middle of winter! It was probably September. And we DO know that Jesus died - blood ad water came from his side when the Roman soldier speared him - medically they didn't even know then how that happens, but they knew it was a sign that he had already died - if that hadn't happened, there were literally dozens of people still alive who could have refuted it.

  • @M400fan where does it say Jesus had blood come out of his side? Before or after the magic talking snakes? Before or after the part with God killing 40 children with bears because one called a prophet "baldhead"? How can we take anything in the bible as true when it holds such ridiculous, insane fairy tales as those and many, many more?

  • @MyManThong "But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water." John 19:34 - this is a genuine bodily experience after death, in particular death by crucifixion, which is usually brought about by asphyxiation. Do a bit of research online and you'll see I'm right. There was only one snake (a serpent, to be precise), the "children" were probably a bunch of vicious teenagers and it doesn't say they were killed, only mauled. How silly is evolution?

  • @M400fan Evolution is backed up by actual facts. Random changes in species lead to new species. That's kind of a fact, we can prove that using transitional fossils. So, Evolution may seem weird, and it is, but the facts prove that its real. Anyhow, no, the children just said "Go up you baldhead" the guy prayed to God, and he sent 2 female bears to kill 40 children. And its typical you use the bible to prove the bible is right. Circular logic much?

  • @MyManThong While microevolution is a fact, there is not one single fact to prove macroevolution - only theories that don't stand up. The facts do not prove that it is real. If you read 2 Kgs 2:23-25, you will see that the word is "tore" - we looked at this in a bible teaching course I did this year and the Hebrew means "mauled". Elisha was God's prophet and mocking him = mocking God. I responded to your question on Jesus' death and I would like you to come back to me on that.

  • @M400fan Yes, I've read 2 Kings. Okay, so the bears didn't kill 40 children, just brutally mauled them. Not a whole lot better. There isn't a single fact to prove macroevolution? nothing is Fact, even in science. there aren't facts, just laws and theories. Nothing is fact. Everything can be wrong. And, facts? okay, I said it in my last comment: Transitional Fossils.

  • @MyManThong They weren't children - they were nasty thug teenagers - the kind that would kill someone as soon as look at them - they got off lightly. God will do a whole lot worse to everyone who rejects Him and His messengers. And He's absolutely within His rights to do so. Transitional fossils don't prove macroevolution. Get back to our discussion about Jesus Christ, please.

  • @M400fan The bible saying that Jesus did something that proves the Bible is circular logic. Therefore, saying the bible proves Jesus died isn't really proving anything. Thug teenagers? Where does it say that? All I saw was it said that they called the guy bald and then God beat the living shit out of them with two female bears.

  • @MyManThong But it's not just the Bible saying that it happened that makes the Bible true - if you are going to take a scientific (rather than a blinkered, prejudiced approach) with an open mind, you have to ask yourself if the New Testament is a credible document from its era - whether it is a reliable source of evidence. I was a lawyer for 20 years, so I'm no novice when it comes to examining evidence. I believe the NT absolutely stands up as a hugely credible document that has been preserved.

  • @MyManThong (contd) But, as I said earlier, you have various disinterested historians from that era - Josephus, Tacitus and Pliny, all describing Christ in terms consistent with the NT record. Why would Christians gladly face the most horrible torture and martyrdom (eg under Nero - thrown to the lions, anyone?) if it were a giant hoax?!? Why would the faith have lasted over all these years and been embraced by so many different cultures and people groups? (contd).

  • @MyManThong I don't know how many Christians you know, but I know plenty who are way smarter than me and that shows that it's not for dummies or people who are mentally unhinged. The Elisha story, you have to understand the cultural context - these youths were the equivalent of delinquents in our day. What they did and said to God's prophet was MASSIVELY insulting and disrespectful in their culture - and it was tantamount to mocking God, as He revealed Himself through His prophets in those days.

  • @MyManThong If you have a problem with God judging those who mock Him, you will be in for a rude awakening on Judgment Day - this and any other encounter you have with Bible believing Christians is God's gracious warning to you to flee the wrath to come - you may mock me and others now, but youl will recall these discussions on the Day - and will wish you had listened - repent of your sin and trust Christ now or face the consequences.

  • @M400fan Typical Christian. "God loves you, and he wants you to love him, but if you don't love him then he's going to LIGHT YOU ON FIRE AND SODOMIZE YOUR RECTUM FOR ETERNITY AND TORTURE YOU FOREVER!" Why would god be mad that he made us imperfect? If he's so mad that we aren't perfect, then maybe he should have made us perfect. Has he ever thought of that? Have you?

  • @MyManThong God created you to love Him and live for His glory, not for yourself - you have freely chosen to do the latter and to hate God - you are a responsible agent and God treats you as such. And you will be judged as such, unless you repent. God does all things for His glory - I have considered all the things you mention and have realised that, as Paul says, who are [we] to talk back to God? Our fist shaking at God is just down to pride and rebellion - we'll never win, so we should repent

  • @M400fan God made us to praise him? ... therefore, God is selfish. Go ahead and praise a selfish God that you have no reason to believe in, I'll go with common sense and logic.

  • @MyManThong God is God-centred, yes - what do you want him to be? Centred on us? Are WE better objects for God's praise than God Himself? That is the ultimate in idolatry! God is perfect in every way and worthy to be praised - we are not - that's why we instinctively recoil at people who are self-obsessed - because we know they are not worthy. Your understanding of so-called common sense and logic is fallen, as is mine, as is everyone's - only God is perfect, so we need to worship Him.

  • @M400fan If God is perfect, then why does evil exist? Why would an all-loving God allow evil to persist, even though he could easily destroy it?

  • @MyManThong Now you're really getting into the big questions! I've asked the same question myself many times - part of it is down to allowing man the freedom to choose back in the Garden of Eden - but most of it is, as I said, because God does all things for His glory - and His glory is His perfect character. If there were no evil, we would not be able to grasp His holiness, His justice and His wrath against evil, but also His love, His grace, His mercy, His kindness, His forgiveness.

  • @M400fan His mercy? What mercy is there? If you even suggest that he is a bad person for killing 40 children with bears, flooding the entire earth, or putting thousands of families through cancer-ridden loved ones, if you suggest that all these horrid things make him bad, he punishes you forever? There is no mercy nor kindness.

  • @MyManThong I don't know where to begin, my friend - but you are clearly in great turmoil over the nature of God and you know lots in the Bible (you're still wrong on the 40 children, btw - don't know why you keep insisting on it - it's not what the Hebrew says) - can I ask why you looked up this video in the first place? Have you done something that part of ypu knows needs to be forgiven but part of you wants to keep doing it?

  • @M400fan Quite frankly, I did not look up the video: It was suggested to me. And no, I don't want to be forgiven for some things. Unlike Christians, I realize sometimes it's good to never be forgiven, that way you live with the guilt and LEARN from it. Okay, so what does the bible say about the 40 children? I want to hear this one.

  • @MyManThong That begs the question whether you automatically DON'T learn from guilt if yo'ure forgiven - I know I have learned HUGE amounts from the guilt that comes before I've been forgiven - and reflecting on the seriousness of what I've done afterwards - friend, it is NEVER good never to be forgiven - either in time or eternity. I've actually explained already about the youths (42, not 40) but, once again - "tore" means "mauled" in the Hebrew - not necessarily killed (contd)

  • @MyManThong (contd) and possibly not even - think about it - 42 youths and 2 bears - of course they're not all gonna be killed - and it some had been killed and some only mauled, don't you think that the text would say so? And the Hebrew is badly translated in the KJV as "children" - it means youths and is most likely to mean a gang of juvenile delinquents such as roam our streets these days - hardly "innocent kiddies"...

  • @M400fan Okay, so a few kids who didn't follow all the rules were savagely beaten by bears. Is that a better interpretation? And, yes, it is good to go with Guilt in your life. It makes you realize you screwed up, deal with the guilt, the pain, and LEARN from it completely. If every time a kid broke a rule he was instantly forgiven without the feeling of guilt, HE'D NEVER LEARN.

  • @MyManThong We're actually on the same page with a lot of this, MMT. Last point first, the whole idea of instant forgiveness isn't actually biblical - the bible teaches the need for guilt, conviction, contrition and repentance as much as it teaches forgiveness - in fact those who are TRULY forgiven WILL learn all these things you mention! Re Elisha, kids is still too young - the point is they were at a responsible age and were mocking God's prophet and therefore God: and u don't mess with God!

  • @MyManThong He was beaten virtually to a pulp even before his crucifixion, he hung on the cross for six hours and his enemies (the Romans) could see he was already dead, so they didn't need to break his legs (to accelerate death). Even if they were wrong (blood and water don't separate until one is dead - look it up), he's hardly going to make a miraculous recovery in the tomb, is he? Yes, we have an eternal existence, but we are created beings - we have a beginning. (continued)

  • @MyManThong God always existed because that is His nature - He is entirely different and separate from His creation. You have a far greater problem - you believe that matter has always existed - if not, how did it come into being? What was the primary cause of matter?

  • @M400fan All matter and energy has always existed. And you might say I'm wrong and that that doesn't make sense, BUT IT DOES! IT JUST DOES! ... see how stupid it sounds when I say it? So why did God wait so long to create us? Or did he create us as soon as he was made? Doesn't God know everything? Then why doesn't he know when he was created? Everything has to have a creator, did he just create himself? If he was always here, then why couldn't the Earth have always been here?

  • @MyManThong So what are you saying? That matter and energy have always existed? We don't know how long God took to create us - it might not have been very long! He is outwith space and time, so it's impossible for us to grasp it with our finite minds. Yes, God knows everything - He knows that He is eternal and self-existent! The Earth (and the universe) were created at a certain point - we know this because God has revealed it in His word, the Bible and because matter has not always existed.

  • @MyManThong Can you reply to my questions about Jesus Christ? Everything hinges on Him, you see.

  • @M400fan God revealed it in his bible? you haven't explained why the Bible is right but the Quran is wrong. Once you realize why you reject Allah, Zeus, Thor, Poseidon, Tenri-O-No-Mikoto, and all those other Gods, why I reject yours: because the universe doesn't need a god, and God doesn't make sense.

  • but how do i forgive myself .. I promised God i wont do "something" . 2 weeks have passed and i didnt do that something and then today i did it and im full of regret im sad, worried,i feel as if i failed God ...pls i need advise

  • @HeyYouPMme You don't need to forgive yourself - you need to receive God's forgiveness - it is completely unmerited and not based on any promises by us never to do something again - the blood of Christ cleanses us from a guilty conscience - do you understand why Jesus died on the cross? What was taking place there?

  • I'm so confused-- If God forgives our sins, and Jesus promises all who believe in him Eternal Life-- Why do people still go to Hell?

  • @MysticChibiTigerGirl People can reject God's forgiveness. When we do something wrong, there is a part of all of us, our conscience, that tells us it's wrong. We ignore our conscience and sin. And a person can reject this or they can ask for God's forgiveness. Many people ignore their conscience and God's call to come to him for forgiveness. Eventually it becomes too late.

  • @MysticChibiTigerGirl God doesn't send people to Hell, and God did not create Hell, man did. There was no Hell, remember, God created the Heavens and the Earth. Then, Satan, Lucifer, betrayed God and left Heaven taking other angels with him who thought they were better than God. They created Hell and began to tempt man. Adam and Eve were the first to fall into sin. God does not send man to Hell, rather man chooses to go there himself. God does everything he can to save us but because of

  • @36sweetooth God did create Hell - Satan didn't create ANYTHING. Why then does it say that the Lake of Fire is "prepared" for Satan and his angels? Who prepared it? GOD, of course! And God DOES send the impenitent to Hell - because He is the just judge. Just as a murderer chooses his sentence when he kills someone, yes, sinners choose their punishment when they reject God. But God still judges them just as a court of law judges a murderer. Your God is not omnipotent if free will trumps Him.

  • @MysticChibiTigerGirl free will we can reject God if we choose and we can choose to not be with Him for all eternity. Therefore man chooses Hell.

  • DANG! poor girl thats pregnet and got shot!

  • lol

  • its funny how we or I turn to god in this way in these times,

  • God forgives, He's done it like 999,999,999 times with me after all the shit I've done. But an important thing to remember is never sin again.

  • Although, these people have major problems God may disaprove, if they realize what they did wrong and feel pitty God will truely forgive. Repent and God will forgive you. No matter the countless times you've done the sin, Jesus's death counts for an infiniti amount of times of forgiveness. Also, the only way you can be forgiven is if you forgive others.

  • God always forgive someone has done wrong if they ask for ................

  • this is shit god always forgives

  • this video was an introduction to a sermon of forgiveness at a church... they are not saying there is no forgiveness, it's just an intro..

  • great work

  • GOD will forgive any one who belives in him iam afraid that she thinks jesus is GOD and pray for him also only GOD desrve to pray to him and ask forgivness from him ,jesus never ever said iam A GOD in the bible

  • juzores,

    John 14

    "... show us the Father."

[Jesus] "Phillip, have you been with me so long and do not understand? If you have seen me you've SEEN the Father."

  • If you have seen me you've SEEN the Father." )) thats doesnt means tha jesus is GOD AT ALL JESUS NEVER ASK PEOPLE TO prau to him the idea of jesus being GOD was born in nicaea covention in 325 never been befor in the original christian faith

  • This is the exact reason why abortion can be good, if she had gone through with that child, she would have ruined her life, and her body, she seemed far to young to be able to handle the stress of birthing and careing for a child of her own.

I am athiest, to me there is no god, i came across this video in the related, and thought that the stories here happen everyday. They chose their fate when they agreed to their "crimes" now they must live with it. We all can think for ourselves

  • @PSOplayer You say she would have ruined her body if she had the baby...Do you even know what an abortion is?? Do you have any IDEA how dangerous it is for a woman????? Do you even KNOW HOW THE HELL they take the baby out of the woman's body and how they "get rid of the 'problem'"??? That isn't even a valid arguement... if you don't know then i suggest you look it up because that's a foolish thing to say. birth is natural and healthy. idk what YOUR talking about my friend.

  • yes god forgives you, but you are not truly off the hook. It will still remain in your record in your after life. Does this mean your doomed? No. The reason why it still remains in your after life is because of Satan. He says something like" If its so easy to forgive them, then why didn't you forgive me?" To be completely forgiven you need to do a condition such as a prayer condition, fundraising condition, or to help others to not make the same mistake.

  • Herp,

Only one thing is required to obtain God's forgiveness; ACCEPT it. If we are too PRIDEFUL to accept His work we have done the only thing we can do to NOT receive His forgiveness.

The only sin that CANNOT be forgiven is to Blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Resisting the HS through our Arrogance and Pride to the point of not being able to hear His voice

(conscience?) calling us is the "UNPARDONABLE SIN".

In this scenario, Jeffery Dahmer MIGHT have been saved We don't know. Is that not cool?

  • god forgives yes he is forgiving. I myself had an abortion and although god may forgive me for what i have done i cannot forgive myself ever. it is a horrific act of murder i will live with the pain and tears for the rest of my life. always think before u act cause once its done u cant turn it back.

  • I'd like you to take a look at Genesis 2:7. According to this verse, Adam did not become a "living being" until God gave him his first breath. He was completely formed, with blood and organs and tissue and bones, but until he took his first breath, the bible says he wasn't a "living being." I'm not 100% convinced. I won't call you a murderer. This verse gives me "reasonable doubt." That's enough for me.

  • life begins at conception so to me i did murder a child and nothing anyone can say can change that. i know my wrongs and i live with my wrongs for the rest of my life. you can say anything you want but i think that as someone who believes in god u should be all for the protection of the creation of life gift from god,

  • Yes we can protect the creation of god but its not up to use to condemn nor judge anyone but its up to god To Judge us

  • Chickythebeautifulbride.

If you ask Him, GOD forgives you. How then can you NOT forgive yourself? Are you better than God? More holy than God? More righteous than God?

The Bible says that God "tosses our sins into the sea of forgetfulness". God sees your SIN through the cleansing blood of Jesus. IE He does not see them. NOW!

    How does God see YOU?

Corporately, WE are the "Bride of Christ". Can you IMAGINE how a groom feels about his beautiful pure virgin bride? That is how Jesus sees YOU!

  • jesus i believe is not real he comes in a long list of make believe myths just like the story of horus and other gods, conicidence i think not. i will never convert to be a christian in my life ever again. i would convert to be muslim if i was forced to if i had a choice between that and dying and if someone tried to force me to be christian i would rather die.

  • chick,

Jesus existence is better historically documented than any Roman king, and most others of ancient history.

Jesus being the Messiah is proven.

Find a video "The Star of David".

There are many other proofs of Jesus diety... PROOFS!

But one can only come to Him by faith... just as one can only come to Atheism by faith. .

  • you are full of it just like the other christian mass brain washers. i have faith in god but not in a person.

don't even try and convert me cause i am not interested in jesus at all and i am glad i saw past all that rubbish and realised what christianity really is.

  • chicky,

God gave you the "right" to believe what you want, truth or lie. All other religions are built on doing right or wrong. Biblical Christianity is based on ONE thing; belief in the diety and the work of Jesus Christ. God/Jesus' love is so great His gospel is simple enough for a child or mentally disabled person to understand

You will never be "good enough"... though you may think you are. Being GOOD is enslavement. Accepting Jesus is freedom.

  • So God isn't a person? Not human, but He's a person isn't he?

  • Comment removed

  • loggerbuck

John 1:1 already proves the divinity of Jesus, just use that one.

  • jesus isnt god at all. jesus is some made up stuff created by paul to mass form a christian army for wars. jesus is just a made up myth just like the story of horus and i think at least 8 other god stories

  • Forgiveness: we can fogive only when we understand how much God forgive us ...

  • Go to confession and make an act of reconciliation with a sincere heart and you will be forgiven your sins.

  • 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

  • Thank you for the reminder. I believe this was one of the verses the pastor used in his sermon the day he used this video to introduce it.

  • no god forgave all already so why are you even asking how can god forgive you he has he never blamed you ever to begin with all men are saved "for mine own sake" not because you've dipped your head in a pool or claim to now be holy because uv been baptized god these born again Christians how long will it take for them to realize they have absolutely no power to save people because they are all ready saved. you trying to tell me jesus dying on the cross waznt good enough to save ALL MEN.

  • Jesus' death on the cross was good enough to save all men. However, having free will, you can choose to reject it and continue to live in your sin. This is why the world is so full of suffering.

  • @1stfruitscomm really? that is why newborn are born with their brain and even heart outside of their body? damn god is so merciful and loving, its those damn newborns that are sinners. amen.

  • :'( that is sad about the robbery i feel so bad for that lady!

  • I have a question. Every crime has a victim, in the abortion case, the unborn baby was the victim, in the robbery case, it was the clerk and her family. In both cases there were victims. How can God forgive you or something you did to someone else?

  • Well, if you commit a crime, you go to court, and the judge determines your guilt or innocence, and then sentences you. You didn't commit a crime against the judge. The judge is the advocate for the law, and just because you didn't commit a crime against him/her personally, it is still the judge that rules.

  • That's an excellent answer. Except, how can Jesus' one death make up for everyone's deaths but not if you don't accept it? Jesus gave a certain amount of money (let's say) to the court, now why does the judge or Jesus get to pick and choose which person that money applies to? If Jesus payed the money personally for person x, that money redeems person x. If Jesus pays the court in general it's not up to the guilty to accept it, it's up to the court to accept the offer.

  • I think it would be more that the offer is made to the offender. Jesus offers to pay the fine, or the sentence, but the individual is the one who accepts or rejects the offer. The court gets its money only if the guilty party accepts it in the first place and then offers it as payment for the crime.

  • But the guy already paid the money. He already sacrificed himself.

  • Again, to use the court analogy, if I am charged with a crime, a bail bond agency can not pay my bail for me without my consent. Someone can offer to pay your fine, but if you don't allow it, it won't happen. They can make the offer, but if you refuse it, they can't force it on the court.

  • A guy is starving. He is only a few steps away from death. A few small morsels of food will save his life. Someone comes along, picks the guy up, and takes him to a buffet and pays his way in. The guy is still not saved. He must open his mouth and put the food in. He can be offered exactly what he needs, but if he refuses it, he will still die, even though life is right there within his grasp.

  • I was reading the New Testament earlier today and I read that Jesus was able to forgive people while he was still alive. What was the point of his sacrifice if he could have just forgiven everyone and still be walking around today preaching God's words.

  • If you look at the way he said it, I don't believe he ever said "I forgive you," but instead he said "yours sins are forgiven." There are different meanings in these two ways of saying it.

  • That still shows that his death wasn't necessary for forgiveness.

  • That's what I'm saying. It's not magic, "poof he died so you're forgiven." He did live. He did die. He did rise again. Don't you think that makes people look more closely at his life than if he just had died of old age or something? His death was necessary because he chose to live a human life. But it wasn't hocus pocus. It's still based on whether you believe what he lived for or not.

  • He was God, how could he die of old age? It would get people really interested if he was still alive after two thousand years of preaching and miracles.

  • Well, for that matter, how could he die of anything if he was God? He chose to become a human, and because of this choice, he had to die in some way. But the fact that he chose to go out in such a dramatic fashion makes people look into the rest of his life, and that's where they find life for themselves.

  • Why doesn't God just make himself blatantly existent? Why are we expected to have faith?

  • I think in many ways he does make himself blatantly existent. The miracle of a newborn child, of a painted-sky sunset, of a field of wild-flowers, these are things that catch your breath. They are all miraculous and make you think that there has to be more to existence than just what we can fathom with our finite minds. And considering how many people 2000 yrs ago saw Jesus and STILL didn't believe, just because he makes himself blatant doesn't guarantee belief.

  • No, but it sure helps many people like Thomas of the Bible realize become believers.

  • Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

I think that Thomas would have eventually believed anyway, even if he had not seen Jesus physically again. Even so, I figure this scene took place just so Jesus could say the above quote, and be recorded to give us all hope through the centuries.

  • How much hope do you get to know that according to the bible, all the holocaust victims are being tortured right now for not accepting Jesus?

  • Tell me where the bible mentions holocaust victims, please.

  • The Bibles says that unless you put your faith in Christ you are damned to eternal torture. the holocaust victims were Jews. I just put two and two together.

  • Well, two things: first, Jews were not the only victims of the Holocaust, there were Catholic, homosexual and Gypsy victims as well, and second, there are HUGE numbers of Jews who HAVE put their faith in Jesus. Y'shua himself was a Jew, as were the 12 apostles, and roughly the first three thousand believers after the resurrection!

  • That doesn't mean the others aren't burning in hell right now according to your belief system.

  • "and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones." (words of Jesus in Matthew 3:9). Yes there will be Jews in hell. But there will also be Jews in heaven. You don't get in or left out based on your ancestry, but on your belief.

  • I'm not talking about ancestry. The fact that you can have two people with similar lives and similar sins, one puts his faith in Jesus and the other doesn't, the one goes to heaven and the other gets tortured for eternity, is sad.

  • You brought up holocaust victims, as if to say that, according to my "belief system," all Jews go to hell. Nothing could be further from the truth. But, sadly, many Jews think they're going to heaven simply because they are descended from Abraham. This also is quite false.

  • Sorry, I wasn't aware that it wasn't just Jews in the holocaust.

  • The Jews definitely got the worst of it, but Hilter was pretty much an equal-opportunity psychopath. He basically hated anyone who didn't lick his boots.
