  • I have been using cool edit pro since about 2001 and it has always been my recording program of choice due to no latency. Maybe the before cool edit pro went to adobe the program was so basic with no vst and stuff that latency was never an issue. I also have cubase 4 and I can not tune the latency out of that program. It is great for vst and final mixes but I find myself having to record guitar and vocals to a click track in cool edit pro(audition) then send the tracks to cubase for midi work a
