The point of this song is that in WW2 the Finnish soldiers cried out to their ancestors KALEVALA as a war cry. The kalevala is completely separate set of literature. By crying out KALEVALA the soldiers were able to overcome Russian attacks and German attacks. This what this song is a battle war cry KALEVALA.
