hey dude, making a stop motion movie with a lot of sound effects, tried placing the sound effects in the timeline with a sound effects disc "Action Movie Essentials". The program gave me the warning about to many layers and not enough disc speed. any ideas. i have plenty of memory. im kinda new at this so any help will do!

How do i control what speaker the sound is coming out of?

for some reason whenever i put in music and play it back it has some kind of ticking noise, like in garage band when you have metronome turned on, how do i get rid of that sound, cause i can also hear it when i've exported it....

@gotcats You have to render it.  Do a Google search about rendering your audio. Essentially you just hit command (or control) R on the audio track.

@gotcats try to render it. Or if not that work get MPEG streamclip thing and open the song in there and export it as quicktime file, works for me

@gotcats Select all of you're content (If for the video it says "Unrendered" with a black-blue-black gradient select your video to) and hit "Command+R" to render.

you lock the video not the audio then u can delete the vid and not the audio :P

Thank you very much ,, i have an audio deadline and i was 2 scared to use final cut pro ,, i used to work on it 4 yrs back and i majored in graphic but NOW after your lovely classy video i got it all back and i don't feel stressful :X

thanks for answering my question. yes I did. but it works just fine now.I think maybe I put the mp3 on top of the audiofile from the videoclip... learning something every day:)

Im using a sony hdr-cx155 and recording in avchd ..

To edit movies on final cut,do I have to have the movies on the camera?

Because when i send the files over to the computer I can not put them back on to the camera.
