  • these dvds are like taking a ballet class

  • In the original DVD of the New York City Ballet, that was actress Sarah Jessica Parker doing the intro. She did a damn fine job, too. "Carrie Bradshaw" used to dance at their School of American Ballet. She still has that slight "ballerina" way about her. She still loves this company like... well, "she" loved Big.

    It's good that Peter himself did this prolouge. Why? 'Cause he's what New York City Ballet is all about now. I think that Balanchine would be proud today.

  • I did this three days ago and still my abs are sore as hell!

  • I just did it today and i'm so scared of wacking up tomorror ... i don't think i'll be able to sit up in bed ... :P

  • Be really careful. Stretch like HELL. I really messed up my neck over the summer doing this (ha eight months ago!). When you do that move where you're laying on the ground, on your back, lifting of your head and arms in a circle around your torso, be careful not to strain your neck. It hurt for days.
