Actually, a 10-20mm on a 1.6 crop is a 16-32mm. Platon shoots his portraits with a 28mm, I believe. A 32mm is fine for portraits, if you know how to shoot.
I would use the wide angle landscapes likeRockboy said also as an establishing shot in video... the still shots of the girl were taken on 35mm or higher thus the nicee depth of field
@rocboy2006 I think he did use the 10-20mm for the pictures. And wide angle for outdoor portraits can be funn if you learn to use the wide angle lens the right.way. I got hundreds of pictures taken with same lens. Mostly landscape. But also some cool outdoor portraits. Play with it, it's funn ;) i prefer 50 or 85mm for portraits. But also got cool portraits wit a 500mm lens and the 10-20mm. BUT then again. I wouldn't get to close to take the portrait photo with the 10-20mm hehehe. Chears :))

are you joking? the pics were obviously not taken by wide angle 10-20. in fact i would never use it for portraits.
