  • thank you!! you're great :)))))

  • Clear lesson, very good one but during the break down part... please try to keep your right hand on track... I think that's one of the most important parts that keeps getting underestimated and it should be learned/taught the right way.. which you can obviously play. =D but otherwise, great lesson

  • fantastic lesson, very clear instructions! i started playing it fluently after 5 mins! Thanks dude

  • great lesson best one yet

  • leave him some people say "th" instead of "s'

  • Decent lesson, but the Les Paul reminds me of Ronald McDonald.

  • muy bueno aprendi mucho gracias amigo

  • @flip14xd learn to speak properly dood before trollin.

  • nice lesson thanks

  • A couple of ideas to sound more exact to the original song: in the beginning riff: 1) when you do the little bend on the G string (A note bend to B), you can add the sound of the B string; and 2) each time you play B note on the second fret of the A string, you can add the low E string to get a E5 power chord (E + B). These little details will make your riff more fat and powerful. Greetings from Granada (Spain).

  • merci pour cette vidéo elle est génial et facile à comprendre, thank you very much for this video

  • yo dude, the fret board at the bottum, its upside down. still sust it like, but i was just thinkin of others. thanks any way

  • I must play this song soon.

Thanks for your lesson, very helpful for me.

  • that les paul is SO ugly

  • No you are

  • that is possibly the dumbest thing anyones ever said to me on youtube lol

  • Yeah? Well....you're possibly the dumbest person I've ever seen on Youtube lol

  • yeah that makes sense, I voice an opinion on how ugly this les paul is and you come back with

    " No you are "

and you call me dumb? interesting.. I think everyone can see who the dumb one is

  • Yeah...you...

  • i agree with chris, the les paul is fkin ugly and so it "IcantbelieveitsA23"

  • thanks gang! will give me something to practice around with.

  • I used to play it this way but listening carefully to the song I think in the main riff, after playing the second fret of the D string, you have to play the open E string instead of the second fret of the A string

  • @arnow77 Yes! Thats exactly right! These silly bastards here villified me for pinting this! You sir, have made my day, thankyou :)

    Eat it,mother fuckers.

  • thanx u a lot !!

    a perfect lesson!

  • this was waaaaaaaaay more helpful than any other tab i looked at. plus my dad just changed my strings, so they still have a sort metallic tin sound that sucks. so bad sound+bad tabs=sounding nothing like the song.

  • best vid eva ...

so helpfull i learnt it on first go

thanks alot best vid on the subject LOL

  • good video man :) !!!

  • perfect

  • this is the most complete version on here. well done. There is nothing wrong with it and its complete! Most vids show you only the opening riff which in my opinion is foolishness!

  • actually it is, whats wrong with it in your opinion, hes not playing it excatley like lenny is?

  • is it supposed to be a note-for-note version of the original studio recording ? because if it is, it is NOT right Sir ....

  • Cool lesson... perfectly executed...

would be nice to have the solo too!

    Thx!

  • nice lesson'thanks men!

  • it's slow enough, but apparently you aren't quick enough to piay along.

  • Or maybe learn how to pause and read the tabs. It's really not that hard.

  • he look like a mix between john travolta and brad pitt

  • the guy is good alot better than any book he walks you through it step by step with no shit bout his day his fav song what he like to do at the weekend! ow yeah and its the hole thing so you get going . 8)

  • hey thanks a lot man this was really helpful. the close ups were excellent

  • Which tuning ?

  • EADgbe

  • Great Job!

  • flip that fretboard around that you have as a graphic, that would help....plus i might suggest spicing things up by wearing a spider man suit..

  • funny

  • he is forgetting a loose D note between the end and the beginning of the main riff

  • c pas le vrai morceau il sait rien se gas

  • Tu pourrai au moins la jouer comme y faut et la jouer a vitesse réelle une petite fois

  • good video mate real help =]

  • I have the same guitar :)

    The video rocks, thanks!

  • To those that do not like my coments, you are idiots.Clearly this teacher is skilled, just saying that he isnt playing the song exactly as it should be played, why can't you people realize that? And Sugaray, don't be a dork,"you can play in any key" Whoa man thanks for opening my eyes on that one. However, playing in a different key becomes a different matter if the measure of music you play contains open notes, such as this. The dude is subbing an open E for a fretted E an octave up on the scale.WRONG.

  • I agree that artists/certain songs whatever, can play,be played with the odd different chord or measure here and there, but fact is,listen to the actual recording or any live performance of this song and then listen to this video and tell me theyre the same. You cant,so you wont, because theyre not.Simple.There are notes missing.I understand changing some or even adding some for varied effect, but totally missing some in a so-called tutorial......? Well, thats what we have here.

  • Yo bro you go ahead and add all the notes you want, I'm gonna go ahead and drink a couple beers and play this song exactly like this on my strat and have a muhfuggin blast.

    Peace and love.

  • excellent format for learning the tune, good break down, ive seen loads of tabs for that and that is spot on. maybe the last dude should learn you can play in any key instead of asking you who you are to say how play it, sound right key to me anway bud

  • wow great thanks..

btw I've got the same guitar ^^.

  • nice

  • Thats not even how its played! The first riff uses a plam-muted open low E string, the modulated upscale riff uses a plam muted root note of G.Jesus.Other than that, good playing.

  • Who are you to say that this song should be only played a certain way? tons of songs have different variations, and even the artists themselves play the same songs in diff't ways. Oasis plays wonderwall starting with F on some live performances, and the sheet music says it should start in F, but I've heard Wonderwall played starting with Em7 in some acoustic performances. As far as I'm concerned, this tutorial is close to the original and relatively easy to learn, so I'm giving it five stars.

  • great lesson!

  • good good, that helped me tuns! also imma learn the solo later from another video so im so happy right now! (:

  • Excelent lesson! Thanks a lot! You got 5 stars!

    Saludos desde Argentina (Y)

  • thanks man

  • ...Two thumbs up!!!

  • how do you pull of from the beggining on

    2^ 0

every time i do it the 0 mutes and i get behind...

  • sort of pick the string with your finger slightly so it rings out.

  • amazing, great job dude

  • damn. That was one of the best video lessons ever dude :D!

  • nice t-shirt

  • Thanks so much! Long live Lenny! Now I can practice and show my friends! God Bless You All!

  • (h5)

  • but in the opening riff, it is not a B on the a- string, it is just an e on the e-string

  • I think so! Lenny plays a E.

  • tab just does not work for me this kin of lesson is a big help!!!!thks

  • dude YOU ROCK!!!

  • thanks for the help:)

  • man thanks, i've already visited your site and it also has some pretty cool videos. keep going. you've helped a lot. (Portugal)

  • this is a pukka video!

    cheers!

  • i have a habit of bending down instead of bending up, and i'm wondering if i shouldn't do it like that?

  • i dont think it does although if u bend down(towards the floor) on ur low E string ur gonna fly off the fret so no choice there but to bend up

  • You mean your high e

  • u helped me alot thanks

  • how the hell is that anoying? it's exactly like how you hold the guitar..

  • I wish all guitar tutorials at YT were so logical and clear. Thx man, I learned this song in 30 minutes.

  • give me gibson and i will do it..

  • lenny kravitz use stratocaster (fender)

  • But Gibson is different...

  • would be good if u didnt invert the tabs ;) It's hell anoyying. 4/5

  • amen lol

  • great job man...

  • you're cool men!video so proffesional

  • This guy owns too hard!

  • Is the part where he modulates the riff up right? I looked on my PowerTabs and it says its on like the 12th and 14th frets. I'm not saying he's doing it wrong, I just want to learn it the correct way.

  • thnks! excellnent lesson!!!
