  • Kevin, you're an amazing signer. I truly enjoy watching your videos and your love for ASL and God is evident in all of them. I'm learning ASL, myself and I hope, one day, I'll sign as well as you. Keep up the awesome work. Hope to see more ASL videos in the future. :)

    {Psalm 32:8}

  • Are you LDS?

  • @Jeanne1968 No, I'm a Christian. I'm sry if this offends you or anyone else but I don't believe that mormons are Christians. According to the bible, I believe they teach a false doctrine.

  • Awesome video!!

  • you did so good

    keep up the good work

and i have to say your rllly cute

  • You did very good. I'm learning sign language, and a Christian.

Your signing makes me think I can actually do this lol. :-)

  • Man, that was good I am a Chirstian and I am big in ASL so that was right up my ally. That was AWSOME

  • JUst took an interest in learning to sign. I love your videos. It would be nice if the music was a little louder for those of us trying to follow along and also maybe you could make A "how to" video. have a great day!

  • I wanted to let you know God is using you and your video to bless many people.I do NOT know how to sign fluently.

I watched your video probably a hundred times and learned it (after realizing I was doing some signs backwards ;) I finally got it ).This past Sunday I performed at our church service and there were many people moved to tears! God is AMAZING! There is even a teen who wants to sign a song with me! Thank you SO, SO much for doing what you have been called to do.~Nicki

  • Really enjoyed watching this video, made me smile after a really hard day, love your passion!

  • Thanks for this video!! im not deaf, but i really like to watch these videos & learn sings in sign language!

  • this was very helpful, so informative. I wish that we could have more of this kind of stuff as far as signing. Not to mention, but, I will . . . . he is gorgeoussss!!!!! Such an awesome incentive for young Christian signing girls (oops!!!) Christians who are serious to learn! THANK YOU CUTIE PIE!!!!!!!!!

So now I have to be honest and say that I am sending this via my granddaughters account, but, still this has been very, very, very, very, very, very, very just very ! ! ! ! KEEP IT UP!!!!

  • I think you should set it to where comments have to be approved first!

    Amazing work, I LOVE IT!!

  • @JenellesHomework

Thanks for the partnership. Wasn't that awesome??? And, isn't he cute???

  • What would the first steps be for someone wanting to pursue sign as a form of worship and eventually become involved in ministry to the deaf community?

  • @mommy2maddox08 you would have to learn sign language. Start by looking for somewhere that teaches it.

  • Will you do there is a redeemer by Keith Green? I think it is slow & easy enough for me to learn to sing & sign to a seniors group.

  • @mattube1981 Excuse me?! What is the point of using that random kind of language on my video?

  • hey - thanks for posting this. I'm looking for a song that I can sign, but create like a sign dance with for my church's worship service on Sunday - this might just be the one. :) Your videos have helped improve my signing a lot - thanks!! As a hearing person too, I appreciate that you want to reach the deaf community - I'm in Taiwan and a friend and I are reaching the deaf community, and learning Taiwanese sign language as missionaries. Blessing brother!

  • I have watched a whole lot of your videos and they are amazing! I know I have watched this one about 12 times to learn the signs! Thank you for what you do cause I'll always want to keep learning! =D

  • i watched a few people do this and was curious are there many ways to do certain signs? i noticed another person did Holy with an H across their finger but then wiped her ahnd across her other hand (if you get what im saying) so i was curious as to which was right? Thanks!

  • @blueyed25 They are both right. There are a few ways to sign most signs. It's whatever the interpret feels led to do.

  • lol who would dislike this?

  • where did you learn how to sign because you are good?

  • i lovelovelove watching your videos. :]

you're great; keep it up. :]

  • Are you deaf? Either way you did an AWESOME job!!! i have to do this song in front of my ASL class tomorrow... I have all the signs down but i think im gonna get nervous and mess up. Still, you did an awesome job!

  • @Wheathanv12 No. I'm hearing.

  • Your video's inspire praise to Him. ASL is such a beautiful language and God has given you the gift of musical interpretation. May God continue to bless you as you share Him with others in this wonderful way. Thank-you!

  • :) Request ;) Will you please sign "Do They Know It's Christmas" in ASL, please :)

  • llama vp-200 866-971-2652

  • YOUR AWESOME,good job!

  • I like how you sing in SE (Signed English) Gives those who don't truly understand ASL to understand what you are saying. :o) Keep it up! Blessed is HE! ~Peace

  • @bluie101 ya well the objective is to always mouth the words in english even if you are signing straight ASL grammar. This song is pretty english anyway. Thats why I changed the title from "(in ASL)" to "(in Sign Language)". Deaf people get upset when you say something is "ASL" and it really isn't good ASL grammar.

  • this was great!!!!

  • 3:23-3:53, my, my , MY!!!

    Mark 1:14-15

  • i want to learn asl all highschools should have it bc ikt is a language could u plz teach natalie grant in awsl someone bc i want to do that 4 someone i really wanna learn jus that pl do asl all so different even though theres one correct way i think i mean idk rlly

  • Wow! I really enjoyed your video. Great job! I noticed your sign for Renown. How did you know that one? We sing this song at my church, and when I'm signing to it I come across that word and I have no idea what it's sign is! LOL If you could tell me, or direct me where you found it, I'd like that very much. God bless man!

  • renown means fame or famous. its the same sign for that.

  • great job! I just started interpreting at church and it is true that sometimes the congregants want something in between ASL and English. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

  • U did an awsome job. I know some ASL because I am Hard Of Hearing. God Bless u!

  • i know sign launguage and i talk to ppl do u? but ill say u wrere awsome in fact im g2g going to church!<3

  • wow! u did an amazing job... i am in sing language 1 currently and i just wish that one day i will be able to interpert songs like this... i absolutely love asl.. my teacher is actually deaf and so like i find i alot easier to learn that way. sense he mostly speaks in asl.

  • Holy signing, Batman! You did a great job, I'm like sitting here in awe. Good job!

  • ok...i have to say that the "Holy signing, Batman!" part of ur comment did make me laugh. lol. Thanks for the support. God Bless!

  • Woot!! GBU too! xD

  • I read in your comments that you are doing these songs so that Deaf people can "understand" them. Some may disagree with me, but if that's true, I suggest trying to loosen up from the English words try to find a rythm to the music. Let your signs convey meaning, not just signs. Bringing music to a Deaf audience requires visual stimulation that can somehow match the aural stimulation a hearing person gets. That's what I TRY to do myself. This isn't a knock on your ability, you did a great job

  • You truly have an amazing talent and I'm so glad to see that you're using it for the glory of God. You make it look so effortless.

I'm so happy i came across your video as it reminded me of the desire & passion i once had for learning sign language. Unfortunately I haven't acted enough on that desire but seeing your talent did stir something.

Thank you. And may God continue to bless you abundantly!

    Jas

  • I admire your desire, that is great when one interprets music, especially Christian songs.

Technically, however, this song is not in ASL, nor does it follow ASL grammatical structure, and a few times there were initialized signs, which are not found in ASL, so I would advise your to re-title your video, so that it is not deceiving to viewers.

    In Christ

    Derrick

  • thank you, I know the song isn't in "Strait ASL grammer" but ASL, SEE, PSE whatever you wanna call it. When you really get down to it, its all sign language. Now i'm not saying I agree with signing strait eng. B/c i'm actually really against it but even ASL has initialized signs so then it starts to come down to what do you initialize and not initialize. I think the most important part is that you make it understandable to the deaf. That is my goal....

  • There are many ways to sign a song and doesn't necesscaily (spelling??) mean one is right or better over another (within reason). I really do appreciate your constructive feedback though! That is what Interpreters are suppose to do. Helping one another improve is what its all about!

    Thank you and God Bless!!

  • Actually, ASL is the only one listed above that is an actual language. SEE, PSE, and anything else is not an actual language. ASL is.

  • See, i've said this before but i think so many ppl focus so much on "only ASL" As an interpreter, one should be able to sign whatever that deaf individual wants. If I am interpreting and someone wants me to sign straight english...then i need to be able to do that and vise versa for straight ASL. I have found that the majority of ppl i have interpreted for what something right in between....So around this area we use PSE. When I am home in FL with my deaf friend I try to work more on my ASL.

  • I know that my "ASL" grammer still isn't that great. I am still working on it.

I find your videos absolutely amazing with the extent of ASL grammer. I have a few songs where I'm tryin to practice a little more ASL for them. I know this song is pretty english...thats the reason I changed it from "in ASL" to "in sign language"

  • Do you take requests? I would love to see Sing, Sing, Sing by Chris Tomlin done.

    God Bless

  • That was great, I'm really glad I found this!

    God Bless

  • you did an awesome job. my church is letting me for extra practice do all the songs we do in ASL. so I was YouTubing videos to see if you do the sentence in S.E.E. or in OSV...made it a lot clearer to see you doing it! :)

  • thank you. No i only do my videos in ASL. Quite honestly a lot of deaf ppl hate SEE sign. They are insulted by SEE signs. I don't know what OSV is. i do know some deaf ppl who sign SEE sometimes but the majority of deaf ppl will very prompt and very abruptly correct you if they see you signing SEE signs.

  • (Object Subject Verb) is the OSV, I am a student at NECC in haverhill mass as Deaf Intept as my major. when i grow up (ha ha im 25) I will be a social studies teacher for deaf students.

  • Where did you learn your sign language from? You are great at it!

  • I took it for 4 years in high school and 2 years (thus far) in college...Liberty Univeristy... still continueing tho.

  • That is awesome! I have taken only one year and a 10 week summer course of it so far. Ultimately I want to major in Elementary Ed. and Sign Langauge Interp. I just had to get past some medical issues first, but hopefully I'll get started back in school soon and finish the degree. I think it is just such a beautiful language!

  • This is awesome!! I love asl. And this song, you did a good job on it! God Bless

    Amanda~

  • thank you! God Bless.

  • I like the Rhet-q "why" haha I always find those humorous in songs but yet I do them aswell.

  • lol...ya sometimes its just easier to put stuff in the form of a question and then answer it. lol

  • Wow, NICE JOB! :) :)

-Hey, I hope this would not offended you at all. But, do you think it would help us see you sign better with a plain background? The light is in the way.

  • thank you. No, im not offended by ppl's constructive critism. I have thought about trying to have a plain background or something but its just to much work b/c i can't sent my camera up anywhere else and its way to hard to try and hang a blanket all the way across my room. lol. thanks for the support. God Bless!

  • Wow. Great Job! This is one of my favorite worship songs. The thing i love about your videos is that you can truly tell you're like, expressing your love for Jesus through what you do..Keep it up!

BTW, ever thought of doing some misty edwards songs? I just think those would make really good ASL videos..

    God Bless,

    Kayla

  • Great job!! Its so amazing to see you doing this. Keep it up.

  • Good job! I think it would be better if you defined the signs better. Like with the sign God: I would express it more and with sing: I'd just make it more so defining...am I making sense even? I'm sorry. I do sign as well and what I have learned is to really express and define each sign. Anyway in all GREAT video!

  • Thanks. I do appreciate constructive criticism!!!! And ur right...making the signs clear and destingishable (if thats a word...lol) are very important! God Bless!
