Two thoughts for you and your viewers to consider...

1- you can order two rustler battery hold-down kits for $3 each, which each include 2 of the posts. traxxas part 3727

2- instead of hunting for bolts, you can just use the stock body mount spacers as your "bolt".

I agree - it makes the truck look WAY better.

@jetlag2222 you can just buy rustler battery hold down and they are 3 dollar a pice and one pack comes with tow of those so you can buy 2 packs for 6 dollars and you will have 4 of the posts for 6 dollar but you have to buy the hex nuts seprate so thats like 10 dollars for everything you need to do the mod!

@bulletnjm The E-Maxx Body mounts are already adjustable, but the fronts like to break... alot! I used a rear body mount on my front and dropped the body so the lower edge sits right on the lower ridge of the chassis. I have not broken a mount in 2 years and now my 'Maxx has front and rear handles!

Im not sure if it has been mentioned already but the original emaxx 3906 used those metal hex mount posts to mount the battery bars (has 4). It might be tough to find old emaxx parts, maybe on ebay or Traxxas may still sell them.. Just an idea for others looking to do this mod. Great job by the way, straight forward, cheap and simple.

hey on ur slash 4x4 do u have a problem with ur nerf bars wearing holes through ur paint and ur back tires too i got mine 2day and it starting doin it right away so i taped the top of the wheel well and the part of the body that touched the nerf bar what do u reccomend also im afraid to run it in water cause of the battery traxxas says its ressitant but not proof so im scared cause i dont want to ruin my battery

@jetlag2222 Yeah, i didn't look it up but i assume that part is from the original rustler and bandit. Traxxas uses those same battery connectors on the Rustler, Bandit and Stampede, Brushed and VXL. It's been around long before the slash. And you were right about the Locknuts, they are 3mm part number# 2745.

Thanks.  RPM is the best thing that EVER happened to monster trucks. Their parts are almost unbreakable. In fact, they give you another one for free if it breaks. RPM totally rocks. I put their parts on all my trucks. Not sure what the future of the 2wd pede is, but I'm sure it will be around for a while. There are thousands of them out there... they aren't going to fade away anytime soon. :)
