Sean Hannity making a big deal about Obama using a teleprompter is so dumb, childish & bitchy because: 1) Hannity uses a teleprompter on his show EVERY NIGHT. 2) At least Obama uses the teleprompter well, unlike Sarah Palin who has to write her notes on HER HAND or unlike Michelle bachmann who reads her teleprompter & forgets about her eye line while on camera 3) All politicians (Republicans & Democrats) use teleprompters 4) Obama doesn't screw up the English language unlike Sarah Palin.
I skimmed most of the comments here and NOT ONE PERSON mentioned that half way through this speech, the teleprompter went off track and she had to stop using it for the rest of the speech. That's right.. half of this speech was given with no teleprompter (I dont remember if she had notes or not)

And by the way, notes written on your hand are just a low tech version. The President has given speeches without a teleprompter too. You'll see whether Obama can speak and think (or not), without the teleprompter. At 1:45 the sound improves. At 3:15 the first question is actually asked.

oh my goodness! I was wrong! Always thought Sarah would have trouble following a teleprompter, much like close captioning. It is really not that easy. Regan and Obama mastered it. actually I didn't think she could follow the pace of a tele-prompter. It's really not that easy as anyone who follows closed captioning knows. But the truth of the matter is that I have seen more than one clip of Sarah using or trying to use a teleprompter as evidenced in this and other clips. She is quite disingenuous.

Well, three reasons:
1. Clinton played his sax on the Arseino Hall show. What that did was make Clinton look cool while Papa Bush refused to pander to the media game. It cost him in the end.
2. Bush stuck to the issues, while Clinton talked about fuzzy ideals and "felt peoples pain". Clinton was interesting and Bush was not tabloid.
3. The economy was down and Bush waited it out. It turned out Bush was right but it was too late for election day. Clinton rode Bush's surplus for 4 years. politics

Bush senior was the most qualified president in history (like him or not historians do not really debate this point) but he got beaten out by a lowly governor from the middle of nowhere on an issue Bush senior was an expert on (the economy - Bush was an economist). In the 80's the U.S was lead by a B movie actor with on the job training. Then there was the peanut farmer and the haberdasher.

Punctuation aside, this statement is rediculous. Firstly, what does his religion really have to do with anything? Even if he was a Muslim, which he isn't anyway, why would that make him any less of a good person? There are plenty of great people of Islamic faith in the world and you are trying to slander all of them right there. Secondly, IF he did turn to Islam while president, what could he possibly do? Checks and balances are still in effect here, although Bush doesn't follow them.

When Obama doesn't read from a teleprompter or a piece of paper, he constantly stumbles and stutters. He HAS been worse than George W. Bush in some cases, muttering incomprehensibly for minutes, his words barely strung together. Hence, the ability to read a teleprompter is not an adequate excuse to write someone off.

Actually, unless one has never taken a Political Science class in College, now days almost always a teleprompter is utilized when speeches are given. Not to mention that professional speech writers have basically everything to do with their speeches, in this case Palin's speech was pretty much written by Bush's key speech writer, Matthew Scully. Also proffesional wardrobe stylist, speech coordinator, and voice coaches are all involved. Hollywood!? NO. WELCOME TO POLITICS!
