There is only 1 sci-fi I rank higher than Babylon 5, and that is Legend of Galactic Heroes. Every thing else pales in comparison. Sheridan's speech there just sends a tingle up your spine, he's the leader we need. It's a shame he's just a fictional character.

I couldn't find this on here yesterday. I just ripped the episode from my DVD last night and was going to post the secession speech after I got home from work today. Guess now I don't have to.
Is this the future?. Earth central powers abusing its power forcing conditions on its colonies leading to secesion and civil war in space? I hope not, we are supposed to avoid the mistakes of this planet in the new life out there.

It has been TOO long since I last saw a entire episode of B5. The attacks on Mars by Earthforce seem like the proverbial last straw.
With regard to recent science fiction dramatic programming, the re - imagined BSG was good, yes, but B5 was great !
