How can the lyrics to this song be overstated?They are pretty much perfect and exact...especially if you knew NYC in the Seventies. Bruce created a perfect period piece here. The lyrics, the melody, the instrumentation all work together to forge the song.
Hey--I checked this out and I am figuring that these are high school kids from a Catholic School in St Louis who are paying tribute to one of Bruce's most beloved old songs from 1973! about Manhattan! and doing such a great job--hey congratulations. This is excellent.

I totally dig this. Very impressed with the piano playing and the singing is very in tune with bruce's original. Many people overstate the lyrics
