LOL, this is great! I have definitely "died" all of those ways . . . except on the little island. Never even knew about that one. The lines that go along with are priceless! To me, the hardest part of this game was getting the angle just right on climbing the whale's tongue. I would curse over & over again. Also, I used to go back and forth btwn the screen with the giant and whichever one next to it was closest until the game was set so he wasn't there. Great game!

I never played KQ1-4 but played 5-7 (and unrelated 8) and thought they were some of the best gameplay ever. Maybe one day I'll play 4 since it seems to be more like 5-7.

Oh, my god...fuck this game. Seriously, this is THE most meticulously complex, inanely-difficult game of all-time. Yeah, it was a ton of fun...but damn, trying to make it through this was an absolutely nightmare, and doing it without a walk-through was IMPOSSIBLE. If there's one definitive game that I would consider the most difficult of all-time, this would probably be the one. There are several puzzles which cannot be conceivably solved without a hint guide.

She waited too long. It takes around five minutes before she dies like that but you can have the fish and still die. Not having the fish is the way people tend to stumble on it though.
