You are turning too much, and I am not looking at the Steering wheel, I am looking at the tyres, and listening for the screeching. Try to turn as little as possible (not beyond the slip angle) and you will go faster, guarenteed :).
Steering Lock is realistic, what do you see, is the setup of steering wheel range in the controller.ini, has nothing to do with steering lock or controller setup.
At this time i used 450°, but it's only grafical affected.
Anyway Higans, you're using a ridiculous amount of lock for every single turn. If the physics were any decent you'd just be understeering straight on in the corners if you're using almost full-lock like Monaco, going around corners between 110km/h and 190km/h.

The graphical engine of rFactor is a bit strange, you wouldn't even reach the loch even though the game shows you that you are way over 180 deg.
