Ok, just got my answer, you said "singing bird on the branch", sorry missed that the first time! Do you always draw your birds as singing? Lovely just lovely.

With a few strokes, a bird is born! Is that the bird's tongue between the beak lines, as to show the bird singing or is that just a bit of more definition to the head? Love your stuff!

The "moth dots" supposed to be real moths, their "chrysalis" (not sure of exact spelling-- or coccoon of the moth) The birds are awsome! Do the birds in real life eat the moths or the plums or blossoms or any part of the tree, or do they just nest or perch? Great video!!

They are moss dots, to indicate that the main branch is old. These are also frequently used in Chinese painting as an accent or to break up a space. I agree, this is an excellent video of a lovely painting.

The initial four branches: beginning, following, turning and ending. so on this video the ending branch is not connected to the turning branch but the following branch, is that what I am seeing? Does the four gentlemen concept apply to the four branches indirectly, and why four?
