your voice is nice, your song has some nice sentiments to it, but it is not grammatically correct to say you're Scared "of" something.

People can be "afraid" of something, but they are scared "by" something. Being afraid of something means you are owning the emotion. Being scared by (or in your case "of") something means you are being victimized. Stop being a victim of your own illiteracy.

And to exploit little old ladies is not cool.

Who says it's not grammatically correct? It's cited as an example on Merriam Webster's site if you look up the word "scared (adj). It's presented as both a transitive and intransitive verb also. I see no reason why it should be considered grammatically incorrect. Perhaps modern usage is simply evolving the word.
