  • Does anybody know if this stuff is Kosher or has any Kosher symbols on the bottle? I bought several superfoods that had a kosher symbol on the bottle and I only eat or take stuff thats kosher. If anyone knows please let me know. Thank you

  • My friend thank you for this review and product discussion. I appreciate your desire to educate and support people wanting the best for their lives! GOD bless JB

  • Hi, I will love to you compare this product with pure fron Foerever Green Inc. It is very easy to comapare it with just one of many different producys that Forever Green has, actually one of the products, WHAT ABOUT PURE 1500MG OF MARINE PHYTOPLANCTON, MY FRIEND I CAN SEE WHO IS OFFERING SCAMING THE WOLRD, SHAME ON YOU!!

  • Damn people get a grip. Like everyone, Mike is entitled to his opinion. All of the character attacks are really sad....because the fact is that you really don't know what Mike's motives are or if he's just promoting a product to make money. And so what if he is? As long as he believes what he's saying its no different from any other salesman. I've seen lots of Mike's videos and have seen lots of great information. Is he right about everything? Obviously not. But neither are you...right?

  • Hey Mike.. here's some news for you. it's NOT the pigmentation that contains the nutrients. You've been shown the science over and over yet you still promote these misrepresentations. This is not the only product I've seen you do this with.

  • Nannochloropsis, Phytoplankton is what I culture for my Salt Fish/Coral tank, Lol,, Thats funny that People buy it at that High of cost.. And to main357's comment , 100% Nannochloropsis Phyto Is Green, the more dark green = more dense. At the End of my 7 day culture it looks like "kermit the frog in a blender" And Tasts NASTY due to the salt water. I culture it in three 2litter bottles, For ALOT LESS money, I dont like it, My Coral Loves it!

  • the green color aint algea, its called FOOD COLORING! LOL! those of you that have taken this and felt the benefits, you're merely feeling the benefits in your head (placebo effect).

  • I should have known. You're just doing a plug for David Wolfe. Too funny!

  • I took Ocean's Alive marine phytoplankton for a month and felt nothing.

  • Avoid UMAC-CORE Marine Phytoplankton. Unfortunately I bought it yesterday but only came across this video not so long after I bought it. I tested it even at home and it showed no pigmentation at all :( I mean why would they be able to false advertise and get away with it?!?!?!?!?

  • what does it taste like?

  • @bulabula80 I just got it and mixed with a bit of H2O, it tastes kind of like MILK :) Very yummy

  • The species is called Nannochloropsis. Its the safest for human consumption out of 40,000 species.

  • @virgojeep1 -- How did you find this out?!?!?!? THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! Now I can buy the real deal and not have to spend $50 an OUNCE for Ocean's Alive!!!

    Cheapest Source is here:

Just google "Nannochloropsis" and go to the "Reed Mariculture" site

  • Sad Mike, you just lost me as I was one of your biggest fans and promoters. Now, I am sooooo dissapointed to see that you are so obviously "selling" this product --advertisement for SunFood--hope the payoff was worth it......what a let down.

  • And Phytoplankton has what relationship to color? This video is nicely done but off base. Should aspirin be brown because it comes from tree bark?

  • @bottledwaterking The green color is from the chlorophyl contained in the phytoplankton.

  • You're on point Erudition. I don't think this video was supposed to be taken seriously though. It seems more targeted towards children than science based viewers. You're also correct about the phytoplankton being translucent. They're actually invisible unless you sublimate the transport medium. I would buy the version that was "transparent" to make sure I was getting less chlorophyll and more actual "medicine" (phytoplankton). Great post though.

  • So many people hate on .. You say do your own research where do u get that from ... other people also.. so i don't get people!... God bless you all .. Why dont you guys confront your government man up ...

  • DAANNNG that stuff is $59 for 1 oz.

  • The sad thing is, is that way too many people listen to a guy like this to make decisions for us when the answers are out there, all we need to do is our own homework and make choices based on that and not from someone that may not care about you only how much they can make from it.

  • He is independently wealthy. He makes no cash from his health-oriented activities, not a cent. He's a hell of a guy.

  • What ever Spirulina isn't able to be broken down, because it is a Negative-Gram Bacteria! If Spirulina isn't able to be broken down, then this stuff is WAY too small to be broken down.

  • What is this MAGIC I came across?!

    Jesus Christ!

  • That's so good to know. The Marine Phytoplankton I buy from NaturalZing is the same as the Ocean's Alive product. They probably come from the same place. The owner of Natural Zing goes out of his way to make sure he sources only the best of everything for the raw community. I love Natural Zing. :-)

Lots of love to you, Mike. Thanks for sharing this info! I think I'll start taking the phytoplankton more often--I don't care for the taste much, so I don't take it often.

    Lots of love,

    Wendi

  • Thanks Mike ... simply love all your advice & the way in which you so unselfishly share your vast knowledge & research.

Have to add the the BIRDS singing & whistling in the background did so much for my heart & soul ... the wild sounds resonated at such a deep level - as though that's my real HOME!

    AWESOME :)

  • I have personally tried the frequensea product and the oceans alive. I bought 6 bottles of frequensea since i had so much i drank a whole bottle i experienced no noticeable gain. The oceans alive product definetely takes getting used to ha but it gave me a very fast euphoric feeling theres definetely a huge difference Oceans Alive is way better. I don't know how mike gets paid but ive never been stirred wrong by his recommendations and he seems to speak from the heart Mike your awesome!!!

  • I bought and tried Frequensea, but didn't experience any noticeable effects after drinking the entire 16 oz bottle. It did taste good, but didn't compel me to keep ordering it.

Besides, the raw phytoplankton being shown in the tanks behind Tom Harper in the Frequensea company video is green in pigmentation and not orange or red.

Ultimately, those interested for the health benefits, would be wise to experiment with the three and draw their own conclusions as to quality and effectiveness.

  • Hi, and thanks for the info. Well, the reason Frequensea isn't straight green IS because it has other stuff in it. And please give the actual levels of phytoplankton per product. People say they are getting great results with Frequensea.

  • I don't care what the nay sayers have to say. This guy may be a money puppet, but I dont care about that. The cellular levels of these nutrients do provide trace elements. I guess next someone will say that broccoli, spinach and apples have no value either? Just look at how rich the oceans are. The ancients knew the power. Too bad the doubting Thomas's try to discredit everything. BTW if you trust your FDA reps, just remember...It is perhaps the biggest source of disinformation. Have faith in H20

  • The guy already has money from his software company before he did any of these review things. Way long before, the only benefit money wise i could possibly think of is maybe he can buy a big bulk order when he gets the discount code that he gives out in the newsletter.

  • There's only ONE THING Mike Adams knows how to do well...He knows how to hide his back door sponsors and silent affiliates. Most of his reviews are heavily biased towards products and companies that he, his wife, and friends have affiliations with, such as Mannatech, Noni Juice, and Amazon Herbs (MLM companies).

He keeps his name off the records, but makes his money under the table. Even his finances are hidden through his "non-profit" company based in TAIWAN!

  • First of all, I'd like to say there is absolutely NO comparison. Having personally seen for myself, first hand, the growing and harvesting process of the Apha-3 CMP Marine Phytoplankton in UMAC CORE and Frequensea, there is without a doubt that Mike's comments are inaccurate. The positive feedback and results with Alpha-3 CMP Marine Phytoplankton in these products speak for themselves.

  • We have our medical proof that this does have a positive impact on the cellular system. Where are yours and or the other products you recommend? You cannot, nor should you compare OPEN CELL WILD Plankton with studies on CLOSED cell plankton or Algae until you have the studies in hand, nor can the other Phytoplankton companies / products use our medical double-blind research to credit their products.

  • Has the matter been settled dear? Did USF and Mike speak about this and discuss it thoroughly?

    Thanks

  • @omoshiroii

No he will not contact us, do any research or respond in any way. He knows he will look pretty foolish...oh well....

  • I would appreciate a response asap from you directly. I understand that you have had several requests via the bloggs on your site to contact someone from our company, but have yet to do so. Perhaps you could explain to your audience the reason behind this avoidance? You can contact me any time and get my personal contact # by calling our offices at 1-866-415-8622.

  • @TiffHaarsma - Good luck getting him to answer you!

  • My name is Tiffany Haarsma, and I am the daughter of Tom Harper, owner and operator of Unique Sea Farms, producer of the wild blends of Alpha 3 CMP phytoplankton used in UMAC Core and FrequenSea. We have the ONLY Company worldwide that offers these natural, WILD, bio-available blends of marine Phytoplankton.

  • Let me know when you are available, Mike. All of you out there that have taken either FrequenSea or UMAC and have had the healing effects of marine phytoplankton in your life let Mike know of your experiences.

  • Hey Mike, this is Bill Robbs with Marine Life Sciences who supplies the worlds greatest blend of Marine Phytoplankton to both FrequenSea and UMAC. Your account of the nutrient benefits associated with these incredible micro-algae are spot on. However, I strongly disagree and am willing to put my reputation on it that your statements about these products are completely inaccurate. I personally invite you to our SEA FARM in B.C. Canada to see first hand our growing and harvesting processes.

  • breath

  • You got that right, the thing is, is that marine phytoplankton does have all if not most of the nutrients that our cells need to function at an optimal level not to mention the minerals and sea salts from the ocean. With all of the research that I have done the nutrients from the marine phytoplankton in umac-core is very impressive, they sent me the nutrient profile along with the summary of the clinical study, they may really have something here.

  • Mike, you did nothing but proved that one product was green, you know nothing about marine phytoplankton, I talked to both companies and I have a clinical study done on umac-core,do you have any studies done on oceans alive? they told me that you have never contacted them, if you have an issue with how they deliver their product then say it.Give the money back to Sunfood you didn't earn it. I do know marine phytoplankton.

PROVE ME WRONG Show us what you really stand for!

  • advanced food technology

  • Hi

I just want to say that if you really want to recomend a pruduct you should only recomend the persent % and ingridients that the product must have. Since you are always recommended brands names products looks like you are advertasing them. In addition, I would like to know your oppion about bullybass' comment.

  • Furthermore, the cell wall has not been broken, so the nutrients are not even in a form that can be utilized by humans. Basically Ocean's Alive is a very expensive fiber.

  • wow, Mike, you're usually so right on. I'm shocked at how misinformed you are concerning Phytoplankton. The color is not an indication of potency, just chlorophyll content. The actual nutrients within single cell organisms cannot be seen with the human eye. You didn't do you homework about how Ocean's Alive manufactures their product. It is a single species grown in a bioreactor with synthetic sea water, fed synthetic nutrients and has nothing to do with nature.

  • You've OBVIOUSLY NEVER used the Ocean's Alive product. Get yourself a bottle, down 15 drops, and then post another response! HEHE! :-)

  • You've OBVIOUSLY have not investigated and it seems you also do not have a high regard for the responsibility of doing the proper research. Also, you are not responding to the points I have made, merely regurgitating the company's line. Very disappointing.

  • Wow, thanks for that info, and here I am all pissed off that i brought the umac-core and I emailed them and was pissed in my e-mail.just because I listened to this random guy on utube saying it should be green. Stupid me.

  • Mike, I trust your reviews because you say you have no vested interest and receive no kick-backs or incentives, but some of your videos just seem like flat out commercials. I can't help but wonder if you have some kind of arrangement with Sunfood. What is the Sun Warrior Team? Don't get me wrong, I am not suggesting you are being dishonest or anything. It's just that when someone sort of pimps a certain brand, and it's kind of seems like a commercial, which makes people think twice about motives

  • Price fraud alert.

Note below I pointed out that the price on SunFood's own website is $59.95 (~$60). And then Mike is saying that Vitacost has the price for 22% off! This sounds like a deal until you see the bait-n-switch on the Vitacost pricing: They have the normal price at $69.99, and the 22% discount brings it down to $53.96. This is really just a ~10% discount over the price that the manufacturer is selling it at. Mike? Why the trickery?

  • UMAC is a great product, it has changed my life. I did A LOT of research and Umac has as well, with clinical studies.I wanted a marine phyto. that has a broken cell wall so we can digest the nutrients. None of the other companies do that. You need to do that! Umac got rid of my eczema completely. my over-all health has drastically improved and it's not as expensive.

  • so how does this product help your body or health.

  • Wow. Might be good stuff, but $60 per bottle. This is pricey considering it should make the top 10 on anyone's supplement program. In other words, there are at least ten other food-based supplements with more researched/proven benefits than this one, such as resveratrol, pomegranate, green tea, cocoa, and numerous others.

  • I meant to say "...This is pricey considering it should *not* make the top 10..."

  • does it have omega 3 in it ?

  • There is soooooooo much stuff out there to take, it is literally overwhelming. It is a business just like any other. I am about to throw in the towel and become a breatharian . one day its one thing, the next its the next thing. It is endless.

  • Yes pranic nourishment! I too am sick of all the hoopla around food! Check out Jasmuheen.
