@TheARMAProductions NEURON is a necessity for Euro nations opting out of F-35. To conduct penetrating strikes in heavily defended space, it is the only way. UK pissing money for JSF leaves nothing for Taranis. I think UK will abandon Taranis and cap F-35s to 40-50 to join NEURON final production.

@TheARMAProductions F-35C can't even catch an arrestor hook. That is just retarded and nothing to do with high technology but basic engineering. Phantom Ray (X-45) was a Boeing product and is cancelled in favour of X-47B by Northrup Grumman. Funding and development for Taranis is running much slower than NEURON timeline.

@TheARMAProductions Taranis was supposed to fly a year ago. France still has AAA with Fitch and Moodys which is a bigger determinate to interest rates. NEURON is a six partner consortium with funding risks spread. Taranis is a lone project which UK cannot afford. Lockheed has nothing to do with it.

@TheARMAProductions Taranis was unveiled nearly two years ago and hasn't left the ground. Being a single source funding the UK doesn't have the money to pour into it. NEURON will fly fly in the next few months. Price of a unit for either should not be so expensive as it is only an aircraft the size of trainer that needs no high performance.
