no, a costume, get alastor(without vfx suit, should be stylish alastor) and keep switching costumes till u see the fourth 1, no ex, the 1 where he has white hair and blue clothes

No, it's just Dante in the PSP version, Sorry. God knows where you heard that you can play as Vergil etc. Only other character in DMC that has appeared in this series is Trish in the Ps2 version and I can't remember if she was playable then.

Actually, in the PS2 version, Dante 1 was unlockable and could be played. Trish was the captive in that scenario.

plus, you can also play as Sparda, Nelo Angelo and that Marionette-guy, so... FAIL

try pressing z and it will say like p1 under your character, this helped me alot when i couldent figure out where i was :P
