@mezaisme They're both fantastic books (both his autobiographies) ... once you start reading them, its hard to put them down .... funny (have been in hysterics reading some of it), some sad bits, and very very interesting ... great mixture ... Amazon have some great deals, thats where i got mine

One more thing, at the very bottom of the page John writes little, kind of margin notes ... they are numbered, these (tiny) numbers he puts beside the passage the margin note refers too ... its hard to explain, it'll be very clear when you see them though, I found this soo different and exciting ... you really feel like you are kinda in direct conversation with John, rather than just reading, i wont say i hope you enjoy the books, cos i know you will :)

He plays the immortal, omnisexual hero Captain Jack Harkness in the British scifi hit "Torchwood", which was renewed for season 4. It's a spinoff from BBC's Doctor Who. Barrowman is also a >20 year veteran in lead roles on London's West End. He's been in several Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals. Has an amazing voice!

@CreepNarrator look it up on wiki, when he moved to America, the kids at his school made fun of him for it. (which is surprising since at mine everyone loved the kid with the scottish accent) so he made his accent into a transatlantic one.

I think that the chapter I found most touching, was chapter 9, where he talks about Midge. Anyone with me? I'm really sorry she's gone. She sounded like a great person. One of my fave chapters was the last one where he talks about his experiences in Torchwood. ^^ Love you John!!xxxx

Johns biography is wonderful, i loved it, infacts its one of the best biographies i have ever read

HOWEVER

I also have the audio book BUT the audio version misses tons of great parts/stories from the actual book its self ... this upset me as to me its a WATERED DOWN VERSION.... i wanted to hear John read it all!!!! and thats what i expected. I saw no mention of this when i ordered it or recieved it.

I like to support John when i can but i think this is misleading

OMG I love John Barrowman! I have read half of his autobiography, it is really funny, although he does swear in places and a couple of the pics are quite dodgy but there are some really nice ones too, I love the one of Torchwood together watching... Torchwood!

From a fellow American, John Barrowman is a wonderful actor, and very brave and open as a person. I think it can be rare to find that, so I am glad he's got success in his acting career. I watch Torchwood and Doctor Who whenever possible. I didn't know he had theatre experience as well, so I'll have to look out for some of that. Keep up the great work, John!
